About the Project

This Project is all about putting together my first Infinty force. The Yu Jing. This will mostly be showing the painting of the models as there is no converting going on here. I'll show what colours I use and what techniques I employ. The exception will be for those I have already painted up as I might not fully recall everything! Please leave comments, feedback and questions. :)

Welcome!

Below you will see the pics of the few models I had already completed prior to this project.

Note that the bases are not done, and on the few that have painted bases they will be redone.

I decided on moving away from the traditional orange colour scheme, mostly because I find orange a pain to paint!

I opted for a Jade like green, which I am sure I will work into the backstory of the force once I get around to it.

the techniques I employed for these guys was layering. working up with slightly lighter layers until I was happy with the result.
The exception was with anything black, that was given a couple of grey highlights and a white final highlight before applying a black glaze (abbadon black and lamian medium) to tone it all back towards black.

As for the masks,  I am basing them  off of Chinese opera masks more or less.

Enjoy!
