About the Project

When I started collecting Star Wars Legion miniatures I approached it in the same way I do historical collections. I used a very nice book of the costumes used in the films as a guide for my painting. Whats interesting is how the colours of some costumes look different on film then they do in real life and some of the details that you can easily miss. I've two starwars projects so I'm cancelling this one.

Clone Trooper Specialists

For the clone trooper specialists I looked at ARC trooper colour schemes and captain markings for the officer. Plenty of examples on line for clone rank colour schemes. I didn’t glue the heads on so I can swap them  around. I wasn’t happy with contrast paints on this set and will try again.

Squad done in contrast paints. Quick but a bit messy in my opinion. I found it hard to cover mistakes especially when using a very dark colour next to white. Squad done in contrast paints.
