About the Project
This project went from recreating my version of ‘Last Stand at Glazers Creek’ to an Imperial Guard (Astra Militarum) force from the Praetorian Guard of the XXIV that closer represents ‘The Battle of Big Tooth River’. The Imperial Guard force is now complete (part 1), comprising 140+ miniatures that includes infantry, armour, artillery, aircraft and supporting units. Now onto the terrain (Glazers Creek Farmstead) which will be part 2 of this project. Part 3 will be the Orks that I have created a separate project thread for.

Orks built, the beast snagga’s are pretty cool, looking forward to the rest of the ork releases.
Also base coated everything for glazers farm
Painted these fully as well, never really painted terrain before, but did these turned out well and only took 2 evenings to finish

Leman Russ turret options, sponson weapon options. Also some crates/equipment for the Trojan support vehicle done.
Next – Atlas recovery vehicle. Conversion using a Leman Russ hull and the crane from the 40k Galvanic Servohaulers kit. Added loads of stowage, tow cables and jerry cans.

Praetorian Guard Rough Riders done. It took some getting these done, but I’m pleased with how they turned out and I’m looking forward to getting these on the table and charging down some Orks.
These were made using the Warhammer Empire Pistoleers horses and Victoria Lamb Rough Rider conversion kit.
