All scenary completed
I’ve now completed all the scenary. I have not posted in a while as I have not been taking pictures. But with all the scenary done I can get on with doing the last 6 or so Corpse Grinder Cult figures.
Here is a youtube video of my completed scenary with the Enforcers on display.
A test Corpse grinder!
Here is my first corpse grinder. This is a total test of new techniques. A lot to improve on but its a start.
Next batch of scenary is progressing and I should have some finished bits soon.
I spent a little time adding some magnets to the control columns and shrines, so they can be moved about and also so they don’t snap off over time. More on this later.
All enforcers completed
I have completed all the enforcers, which puts me on schedule for doing all the gangs I want to paint before the end of June.
A few more subjugators
I have been working all week on my subjugators, not exclusivly but that is because of another project I have started for Necromunda.
I have now completed another 4, leaving just the Captain to go. I will be assemlbing the Corpse grinders over the weekend. I was going to do the Escher gang I have, but decided they can go last.
I am very pleased I have been able to recreate the sheilds throughtout the squad. I was worried I could not repeat the view port paint design but it has turned out fine.Largest terrain piece yet
I have spent the last few days working on my Subjugators. I have now completed the bodies. I am going to start on the arms and heads the next few days. Photos will come along then.
I have also painted one of the largest peices I had to do. This took a long time. Detailing the metalics took me around 4 hours yesterday. But its all done along with a dozen platform pieces.
I am startng to run out of wash but hopefully I can find somewhere that has it before I run out totally.
Repainting and buidling blocks
I have started to repaint the Armaggedon scenary that I have icnluded int he project. I did not bother with a stripping down, as this seemed like a waste of time and effert. Instead I went straight to a base coat over the old paint. This took quite some time to complete. Along with 6 of the block walls this took me 3 days of painting along side doing the Subjugators. In fact my subjugators took a back seat, but I will work more on them the next few days.
This is the walkway before I started. This is my first attempt at this and was a very poor choice of colourHere are multiple pictures of the now completed walkway.
Here are a few pcitures of the six blocks.
I think I've found your leak ...
I have been plugging away with the pin wash and hightlighting of the subjugators. Nothing exciting to post picture wise. I hope to have them all completed this week.
The brown I have used for the base coat of the scenary has worked out fine, so I am doing that along side the gang, as actual painting time is small. Here is a set of plasma conduits. They were fun to paint, so I will be getting more.
Subjugator number 1 completed
The completion of the subjugator took a bit longer than I expected but I’m happy with him. I just need to do the transfers and base.
I also located an alternate base brown so I have started work on the plasma pipe scenery.
