About the Project
So…I've fallen in love with the world of Infinity. I've acquired a boat load of their metal. I've assembled quite a bit of it. I started and finished painting up most of the Aristeia! minis. However, to date I've not painted a single Infinity mini. Part of that is because I've been intimidated by what others have done and I want to do the quality justice. Part of it is that I've become a bit overwhelmed with everything I've purchased. So, here's to getting more of what I have assembled (because otherwise I'm likely to repurchase a model/box by mistake) and to getting some of it painted. While it's unlikely I'll have anyone to start playing this with for some time, now is a breather to get at least two armies painted up so that I'm ready to go once I can go out and play again.

On their bases
Still have some work to do on these but they’re starting to come together and…they’re on their proper bases! In future I will still stick them on temporary bases (like I did this time) but put them on their final, already painted, bases earlier—i.e. right after base coating. I will say that seeing an army come to life/come together is an exhilarating feeling. Not sure I’ll be able to switch over to Panoceania before I paint my Nomad TAGs. Nice and grubby
Had a very enjoyable evening with pigments, inks, washes, edge highlighting and stippling. They’re a bit drab but that’s A) in keeping with Nomad culture (looks a wreck but works flawlessly) and B) should allow the minis to be the focus. Base coat bases
You heard me right! Got distracted by my Death Ray Designs bases that I bought oh so many years ago (I.e. 1 year. Really. 1). Now to do some weathering. Used the base colors that I settled on for the troops 
Nomad Armor
Just another evening on these and they’re starting to come alive. I will say I feel that my painting skill has improved exponentially (though it hasn’t) by moving to high quality minis. What a joy to paint!Nomad flesh
Spent the evening painting the Nomads with skin showing. First time putting brush to Infinity mini and boy howdy these are good! Better detail and definition than my only real reference of Crisis Protocol but in half the size. Here’s the collection
Now to get painting! (This is, btw, excepting the Icestorm and Beyond minis which are on the paint table)
