Late war British
My updated British force is still missing some machine guns but these chaps have been rebased and repaired I made some dead trees for fallout recently so I thought I’d see how they look in no man’s land. I’ll start repairing my Germans before I get the machine guns I need for the British.
Updated British
Trench repair
I made some terrain boards a few years ago from HDF and I didn't do a great job. They are a bit flat and chipped so I got to work adding some texture.- My firing steps were just backed out of the foam so I’ve resurfaced it. Looks like the Christmas truce. Needs painting now.
Posters
Thanks for the Golden Button. As there was some interest in the posters I thought I’d look at them. I usually print off any images that can enhance my building kits and add a sense of time and place. I went for Edwardian french advertising for WW1. I also researched wallpaper designs for the interiors. When the trenches first got dug there was a shortage of sandbags so they used a lot of pillow cases and other fabrics. Multi coloured sandbag entrenchments might look strange.
I’ve also done similar things for my other games.
