About the Project

I'm collecting two armies in 10m to recreate the battle of Quatre Bras the prelude to Waterloo. This will be for the Blackpowder game system. I've never painted minis this small before but I think the battle can be better represented at this scale.

Organised the figures into my battalion.Organised the figures into my battalion.

My first selection of minis for the British making up kempts brigade. 2 line infantry. 1 highlander. 1 rifle and artillery section. I’m organising them on four stands each with a command. That way I can change them to square formation. I have over 150 minis in Kempts division.

I found flocking the stand was difficult getting glue between the men and I worried the flick would be too large in scale. The four stands and s command works well for creating the different formations a Napoleonic regiment would operate in. I made a tiny flag but it was a bit rushed so not too happy with the standards

The 69th in some nice dirty brown looking trousers. The first regiment I painted I didnt really think to much on what regiment at Quatre Bras they were meant too represent and the 95th stand out in green but for a second redcoat unit I wanted them to look different from the unit already completed. The 69th in some nice dirty brown looking trousers.
