About the Project

After reliving those saturday evenings from my child hood watching episodes of Robin of Sherwood I got curious about doing a Robin Hood game. As a Nottingham local I've had a love hate relationship with the legend. Loved it as a kid and hated it as an adult because I had to talk to tourists in the worse costume imaginanable. Now I've gone back to loving it thanks to the Robin of Sherwood TV series. The Clannad theme the wonderful hair, Ray winstons cockney wood dweller and the amazing amount of guards who get butchered every episode. This should be a small project but an enjoyable one for me and a break from the norm.

I used en garde as a rule system for Robin Hood because of its swashbuckling nature although the rules weren't designed for that time period. I dabbled I'm musketeers in the past but I have started adding to the other periods covered in the game. I'm working on aztecs and conquistadors as well as classic French. Maybe English civil war as well but here are some random civilians and thugsI used en garde as a rule system for Robin Hood because of its swashbuckling nature although the rules weren't designed for that time period.
