Small progress
Gems slivered then soulstone blue on the saim-hann. Bases goblin green then dry brush sun yellow and black rims.
Wave serpents (not the nice old ones booo) had the same airbrushing as the Falcons in last update. Then silvered on gems and cockpits and wave plates and the guns had the bloody red.
Rangers have had a coat of camouflage green on the cloaks and then ultramarine blue on the armour and then bone white on the gun and helmet. Followed by skeleton bone on the gun and then sun yellow on the helmets.
Guardians painted a long time ago have had there rims painted black to match new stuff though the basing is different.
Jet bikes and tanks
Getting inspiration from the image below so the Alaitoc’s will be sporting the yellow tiger falcons of old. All Falcons were Primed black. Then sprayed bone white followed by filthy brown from below and finally another coat of bone white from above. Then spray Sun yellow. Then the canon got a coat of bloody red. The edges of the Falcons got a light tone wash. Then gems and canopy’s got a coat of silver followed by a gloss. The large dome then got a coat of Talassar blue, the middle two got a coat of warp lightning and the gems got a coat of soulstone blue. The two side panels then got several coats of acrylic ink white.
The jet bike are being painted as the Saim-Hann wild riders as you get them for free in second addition SpaceMarine. The base got a coat of the pumice texture. Then Primed black. Then sprayed bone white followed by filthy brown from below and finally another coat of bone white from above. They then got sprayed with a 50/50 mix of hot orange and bloody red followed by a bloody red coat from above. The rider and the underside of the bike then got a red tone wash. Then helmets were then painted white with the ink.

The base got a coat of the pumice texture. Then Primed black. Then sprayed bone white followed by filthy brown from below and finally another coat of bone white from above. The model got a coat of Iyanden yellow then a dry brush of bloody red. The sword and the helmet wings were blended with Iyanden yellow,gryph-hound orange and blood angels red. The hilt of the sword and the loin cloth were touched up with bonewhite then a coat of skeleton horde. The avatar symbol was painted with the pearescent black ink. The soul stones and arm bands were painted silver. Then the arm band got a coat of nazdreg yellow and the soul stones got a coat of soulstone blue. The face then got a coat of red tone. The hair got a coat of Terradon Turquoise. Finally base then got a coat of goblin green followed by a dry brush of sun yellow with some grass clumps and clump foliage and black rims.
Warlock ready for varnishing
Gems all silvered then on yellow and purple areas gems coloured with waystone green. On blue and bone areas gems coloured with spirtstone red. The rest coloured with soulstone blue. The bases then got a coat of goblin green followed by a dry brush of sun yellow with some grass clumps and clump foliage and black rims.
Bit more progress on Warlocks
Thinned sun yellow on the fins and warlord purple on the lower parts then all purple had a purple tone wash. The blue had another highlight of magic blue/electric mix followed by a blue tone wash. Then some Eldar makings with some pearlescent black.
Gems and starting warlock titans
Phantom on left has the silver then contrast and the on on the right has the gem technical paint. Not sure which is best opinions welcome.
Got some pearlescent Daler Rowney liquid acrylic Hot cool yellow on the heads of the titans and Galactic blue on the Psy cannon. Legs and body getting the same process as the Phantoms so far the skeleton bone than dry brush and then ultramarine blue followed by magic blue. The heads and the gun got a coat of warlord purple followed by a mix of warlord purple and squid pink.
Phantom number two
Second phantom had the same paint job as the first. I used a contrast on the gems on the first but have order the three gem technical GW paints from OTT store to try out.

Then sprayed bone white followed by filthy brown from below and finally another coat of bone white from above. The whole model got a coat of contrast skeleton bone followed by a dry brush of bone white. The trim, shoulder pads and hand got a coat of ultramarines blue (game color) then a highlight of magic blue then a mix of magic blue and electric blue followed by a wash of blue tone. The gems got a coat of pale burnt metal. The head and flying wings then got a coat of 50/50 sun yellow and flow improver. The gun and lower wings got a thinned coat of warlord purple followed by a purple tone.)
Working on a Phantom
Base got two cork bits glued to it then a coat of the pumice texture. Then Primed black. Then sprayed bone white followed by filthy brown from below and finally another coat of bone white from above. The whole model got a coat of contrast skeleton bone followed by a dry brush of bone white. The trim, shoulder pads and hand got a coat of ultramarines blue (game color) then a highlight of magic blue then a mix of magic blue and electric blue followed by a wash of blue tone.
