About the Project
In this project I'll be taking my fledgling steps into Marvel Crisis Protocol. I'll be trying out some techniques and paints I've never used before. Wish me luck.

Terrain part 7
Next I lined all the trims and blocked in the tyres and sign with German Grey from Vallejo. The metal bits were done in a gunmetal washed with nuln oil. Finally I carefully painted the letters on the sign with yellow.
Terrain part 6
Once I got the yellow to a point that I liked and wasn’t streaky I started blocking in the lights and windows. The windows took a couple of coats (the blue/grey was pretty thin).
Terrain part 5
For the next piece of terrain I went with the taxi.
I started painting it yellow. Once a couple of coats had dried I decided it was too dark. So I stuck a few coats of a lighter yellow.
Terrain part 4
I gave the yellow parts a wash with agrax earthshade to bring out the contours.
While that was drying I painted the till and magazine stand grey.
I then painted the magazines a bunch of random colours.
I got the fluorescent paints out again and added a little yellow to the lights. I also did the till display with fluorescent white.
The metal bits were done in gunmetal that was given a couple of heavy washes of agrax.
Finally I did some general tidying up.
Terrain part 3
I finished painting the concrete by giving a couple of drybushes of lighter greys.
I decided on a bright red for the background of the sign. And for the lettering and window frames I went with yellow because it pops against the red and the green. I went with a blue-grey (grey-blue?) for the glass.
Terrain part 2
I started painting the concrete parts grey. But painting all that grey is soul destroying, so I painted all the wood brown.
Terrain part 1
I decided that starting with the biggest piece of terrain in the starter set would be the best approach to tackling it.
I started by painting the walls with Sick Green from vallejo.
