About the Project
In this project I'll be taking my fledgling steps into Marvel Crisis Protocol. I'll be trying out some techniques and paints I've never used before. Wish me luck.

Captain Marvel part 2
Once the red was blocked in I washed it with druchii violet. Once that had dried I drybrushed in my original red, then moved on to orange and a very light application of yellow.
Next I painted the medallion on her sash and the trim that separates the red and blue with a bronze.
I was feeling a bit fruity so I gave the bronze a wash of reikland fleshshade.
I gave her hair a coat of ivory. Once that had dried I gave it a wash of Cassendora Yellow.
All that was left to do now was the base.
Captain Marvel part 1
I started of with the face, then went on to the blue. I did the blue in the exact same way that I did with Captain America.
Next I blocked in all the red using Evil Sunz Scarlet.
Black Widow part 2
Now I painted her belt and bracers with a copper, which I washed with agrax to shade the recesses. For the centre jewel for each segment of the belt I used a dot of Flesh Tearers red, this gave a metallic red look.
To finish the hair I washed it with druchii violet, then drybrushed it with gory red and then an orange.
After that all that was left was the base.
Black Widow part 1
The first thing I did was paint the skin. After that I blocked in her catsuit with German Grey, which I then went on to drybrush with a couple of successively lighter greys.
From here I brought the colour back down by washing the catsuit with 3 coats of nuln oil.
While the wash on the catsuit was drying I started to block in her hair with Gory Red from vallejo. It’s quite thin so it took a couple of coats to lose the transparency.
Crossbones part 2
Next I painted his mask, armour, gloves and boots with German Grey from Vallejo. I also went in with a gunmetal on his gun, knuckles and all his buttons. I highlighted the German Grey parts by drybrushing a lighter grey over them. I then hit everything bar the skin with 2 or 3 washes of nuln oil.
All that was left was to paint the face. I did the eyes and mouth with German Grey. I then blocked in the face with Ulthuan grey, which I gave a light wash of nuln oil to before using the Ulthuan grey again on the raised areas.
All that was left was to do the base.
