About the Project

Look, sometimes, you just need an absurd amount of models on the table to die in droves. Hopefully, they'll be painted by then. 18 gretchin and an Ork nob keeping the group together. I'm thinking Blood Axes, and go for a workwear look. Give the nob a tie, that sort of thing. Do 'tings propah 'n' all dat.

Went for a walk to get lunch at a place a mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) away, and fell asleep when I returned. (I may be getting old.) Decided to at least put some Orc.Skin speedpaint on the Gretchin before bed. We'll see how it dried in the morning.Went for a walk to get lunch at a place a mile and a half (two and a half kilometers) away, and fell asleep when I returned. (I may be getting old.) Simpleton and Dolt getting a first lick of paint.Simpleton and Dolt getting a first lick of paint.

Although I left it on active, really, starting on the grots was to wait until after I finished the Necrons and Lunar figs…well, they’re done. No excuse any more, so let’s get stuck in.

Going with a nice purple, and taking a close look, I realize they’re bare chested on the whole. Hmm. If I want to make them business-like…maybe some shirt collars. Probably without shirts, as that’s funnier.

Anyway, a start!

So, here's the starting point. Primed, mostly assembled (the nob might need some pinning to hold together) and ready to go. Going to clean up some other stuff closer to finished first, though. So, here's the starting point. Primed, mostly assembled (the nob might need some pinning to hold together) and ready to go.
