About the Project
Empire of the Dead is one of those games I've always liked the look of but never gave it a chance. So I picked up the rules and a couple of factions. I just need some scenery

The Discombobulated house
A couple of print failures gave me only half a house but because I printed the rooftops separately I can use them as little out houses and actually work well.
This print went a bit wrong but I decided to embrace it. Maybe it's the home of some father insane character or it's warping in from another dimension. What ever the reason the neighbours stay well awayHomemade boarding
Using some spare mdf I made some fence like boarding and covered them in posters. So the table isn't all brick
MDF upgrade
Using a stencil from sarissa and some wood filler I got to work adding some details to some old kits from timeline miniatures. 
Some of the bricks came away when painting but it's not meant to look nice. 
Posters
I collected some victorian advertising from the Internet. I went for real ones rather than anything steampunk

These are the paints I use for my bricks with some grey and blue thrown in.
Not sure how many buildings to print but the more I do the better it looksNemos crew
Nemos crew was a must buy. I feel I need a nautilus sitting in the water as a terrain piece More building restoration
These two buildings I think don't suite Victoriana as much. I might save these for 20s pulp games. I think the doors are too modern compared to my other buildings and will clash with my 3D prints. 
The pub from timeline miniatures was originally used in my 1916 Easter Rising game. I've painted the facade white so it stands out more.
Set up ideas
Before I started 3D printing I got out my current collection to see what I could put together. There are a number of different environments to play games on. One is residential so I made a little grave yard to add a bit of green to the cobbled mat.
My MDf buildings are OK but I think they might clash with the brick work on the 3D prints.
For an industrial zone I thought about dock lands. I have some coastal tiles that I've covered with some boarding to create docks.
I painted them up and added some jetties.
