Aeon Trespass: Odyssey (base game, expansion and godform miniatures)

About the Project
ATO is my first paint project where I am primarily using acrylic paints and it took me a long time to do research on paint recipes and techniques to get the results I wanted (or close to wanting). I can imagine many other people being in the same situation I was in, namely wanting to paint good looking minis but not knowing where to begin or which colors to use. So, I decided to make a paint guide for ATO (cycles 1-5 + godform miniatures) in the hopes of helping people out. This guide is heavily inspired by the paint guide made by Lawnor here on this website. His miniatures are awesome and I recommend you check him out as well!

Icarian Harpy
It has been a couple of weeks but I am back! Have been painting the primordials of the expansion box, but still have to take pictures of them before I post them. In the meantime I will be finishing up the posts of the miniatures of the base game box.
The Icarian Harpy is one of the last primordials I painted from the base game box and it is one of the better ones I have done. Here, like some of the miniatures posted earlier, I could really see that I had improved. I saw Skold Painting having painted the feathers in a certain way that I liked, so I grabbed his idea and made it my own. The feathers did take a lot of time to complete, but they are worth it in my opinion. Really happy with how this turned out.

Truthbearer
I could have painted the stone ball with the recipe I used for marble but that didnt correlate with the art of this titan. The art showed a darker more brown color. Took some time to come up with a recipe for it and the recipe came in handy for the miniatures in the expansion box (some foreshadowing).

Chimera Metastasios
One of the big miniatures of the base game. This was a wild ride, because the miniature has a lot of elements. It came out good. Happy with the overall result. With this miniature I really felt the disadvantage of miniatures that cant have their bases removed. This is a thing with these miniatures unfortunately.
