In a Galaxy in the future not too far away

Leader of the Forces of UNICON  in the planetary invasion. They’ve come to enlist the children of the planet to fight in failing war in the western galaxy.

The personal troops of the Conscriptor Major (more about him later). Elite troopers and the ever present robots of the controlling AI

I needed some more scenery to break up lines of sight. I thought some vehicles would do the job. I bought some 3d prints from Etsy. A little rough but would do the job.

I also bought a couple of cheap vehicles from China. I added a couple of bits of scrap plastic and after a paint job and rusting it up I used some graffiti transfers on it

Betrayed by UNICON these are the Human Engineered Reactive Operatives (H.E.R.Os). Genetically enhanced clones created to support humanity’s expansion into space. They were the astronauts, pilots, engineers and  security. Despised by the malignant A.I now controlling UNICON they were hunted down and gradually replaced with robots. Some survived and they are angry.

So these are the non-conformers. They might be criminal gangs, religious zealots or just don’t want to full under laws of the planetary jurisdiction. They want to be left alone until they need something.

I have one Scavenger sprue and used the Crew sprue to bring up the numbers. Needed to make tbe Crew more Scavenger so used the masking tape wrap technique to try and achieve this.

I’ve been sat on a load of Battlesystems terrain since lockdown. These will be perfect for that industrial feel I’m after.

This might be a bit of a waste but I like to use these to darken the outside of the cardboard pieces.

The forces of the United Continents of Earth or UNICOM for short. These were made predominantly using the Stargrave Troopers box. The gunner is from Heresy I think. The droids came from Etsy.
