Finished up the pirates, need to varnish tomorrow but calling them done

Just a random one day paint job, another play on vampire skin and contrasting that against some warm colours

Bitty week, lots of little bits of progress, nothing finished.  Plus some building, and a return to Necrons and helsmiths … due to one wanting to do some messy playing with bases and two having put too much green paint on my palette.  Something that worrying drives a lot of my hobby.

Highlighting my inability to stay on target*, got diverted by the new shelob kit (lovely but the attachment points to the rocks where a questionable choice)  also grabbed the old webbed Frodo

Finished painting my first mini of the year.  Quite happy with the sneaky zerg test, need to settle on a pop colour.  Also finished the build for my planned forest goblin force for saga, age of magic

Think we are done bar the base and sneaky zerg test peice.  Not sure if the osl is a lttle strong.

I got excited last year by Starcraft’s upcoming release but as I started what gets as close to a plan for the year as I get there were just too many projects.  But the itch isn’t going away so I figured I try painting the show Zeretul mini I grabbed.  Still very much wip but it is a very paintable mini and a lot of fun.  So thinking something else probably needs to make way for starcraft

So year has been off to a slow start painting wise, mix of work, wanting to build stuff and some issues with my back condition.  So I have built over 400 models but finished nothing.

I have been chipping away the last week.  So this is the current paint table.  Some imperial Nobility .. ogre was the test model.  Some moonstone nearly finished.  A battletech test scheme, and Gandalfs.
