Battle Systems Kickstarter Funded! That Was Quick!

The Battle Systems Kickstarter has smashed through it's original target in no time at all. They are already pushing on towards £30,000 which is insane but you can see why when you look at some of the terrain they have on offer.
Above you can see the two pledge levels in full. The top one is the Outpost whereas the bottom is the Station and would be perfect for all kinds of sci-fi games that are bought indoors.
One of the games that features quite a lot with this game is Mantic's Deadzone and it would look fantastic fought in those corridors and more open rooms.
You can also get your hands on a lot of little extras that bring the whole place to life. I do like those massive Turbines as they would be an ace objective for the evil ones to destroy and the hardy marines to try and protect.
It's all going very well for the guys from Battle Systems and I am happy for them! It couldn't have happened to two nicer guys!
Let's see what else they have planned!

Hi Brennon,
the second pledge level you have shown here is the station, not the stronghold. The stronghold is the station plus an added floor level.

So this is preprinted card? It’s very impressive for card stock terrain.
got to admit, I’m impressed. Space Hulk got me into gaming in the first place so perhaps its time to revisit an old love… cheers Battle Systems! good quality, good price, great aesthetic
These pics are impressive but the sweet spot pledge of the stronghold is really awesome. I also like the way they are taking the stretch goals with some of the upcoming ones being hinted at being things like medical stations and detention centers. That opens up so many gaming possibilities. I just love this kickstarter!
This terrain can be used for All sorts of games I’m in for a Stronghold x2…. if I can squeeze some extra $ I might try to get to a 4×4 board size with some add ons hopefully as stretch goals are met
I will be playing this with Deadzone!!! Can’t wait to go from outside into interiors in one running battle!!! Back this kickstarter!!!

I’ve made some of their printable PDF terrain and it is indeed perfect for Infinity. In fact, any sci-fi game!

They are also a couple of really nice guys running the Kickstarter. Colin and Wayne are on the Kickstarter comments page constantly answering questions, joking and generally being great chaps! Even more reason to back it!
I may have to throw my wallet at these boys and hope I survive until they arrive in 2014 to enjoy them. I’m thinking it could make an interesting dual-board for Infinity have a outside complex that they can enter and this for the interior…maybe too ambitious 😛

Gah! Is so pretty! Would be nice if they had just a bling option for tables chairs and consoles.
I think they have them part of other add-ons because they are on the same cardboard sheet as bigger things.

I put money down for this, which is saying a lot since normally I absolutely hate paper terrain.
But I do wonder where the hobby is going from this hobby… everything is pre-everything and ready to play these days… when can we expect the next assault of the pre-painted minis? Ok, X-Wing…
I love the Battle System the two guys behind this are great as they are on the comments page as much as they can and they are listening to our ideas, giving us feedback, and generally having a good laugh [just watch out for Colin’s jokes] Hopefully we will see a new “Hulk” pledge added soon [single level pledge great for making a ships interior] for those who will be playing AvP, Space Hulk, and Incursion, so go have a look at the Kickstarter page and see what’s happening.
