Reign of Iron - War for the Cadian Gate // Warhammer 40,000

Eye of Terror: Reign of Iron introduces brand-new lore for Warhammer 40,000, new detachment options for a range of different armies and rules for playing out battles on an apocalyptic scale.

In the lore, the Cadian Gate has not truly fallen and so that's where the Daemon Primarch Perturabo comes in, enacting his grand plan to crush the Cadian Gate and shatter the other Imperial worlds that watch over it. This is where Perturabo comes up against the forces of the Adeptus Mechanicus on the forge world of Agripinaa.

Inside, you'll find rules for covering the mortal and daemonic forces under the command of Warsmith Kravek Morne, plus new detachments for the Chaos Space Marines, Space Marines, Chaos Knights, Imperial Knights and the Adeptus Mechanicus. They also cover running full armies of Vashtorr's daemon engines, Freeblade mercenary Knights and more. You'll also find more covering Thulia Ghuld, the Knight Destrier and more.

The rules for your Apocalypse-style games are brought to life with modular guidelines and adjustments that tweak the Warhammer 40,000 rules to allow you to run epic games. This should streamline your games so you can play with HUGE armies without taking hours and hours to play. We shall see about that.

Pre-orders for these new books and all of the new miniatures will be coming soon, including the addition of that revamped Defiler that we saw a couple of weeks ago. It won't be long until we're seeing more teasers for 11th Edition and Games Workshop's plans for Warhammer 40,000 going forward.

Are you going to be picking up these new books for Warhammer 40,000?
