We preview the profiles for two of the troops from the upcoming Infinity expansion from Corvus Belli, Beyond Icestorm. In this video, we take a look at following troops.
- Kamua - Panoceania
- Kriza Boracs - Nomads
The Kamua amphibious troops are the Navy Seals of the Panoceania army while the Kriza Boracs are built for heavy duty combat.

What do you think of the profiles?
I must not be seeing something with the Kamau, a 5 point increase and a movement reduction doesn’t add up as an exchange for Mimetism. The HRL is pretty great but everything else looks a bit middling.
The Kriza is amazing though.

It’s probably best to compare the Kamau not with its old profile, but instead with Bolts (they seem to be Varuna’s sectorial equivalent); maybe it was felt that if they kept the same stats, there would be too much overlap with Fusiliers?
Some of the weapon options being shown, in a link team that has mimetism, seems pretty good, but who is to say what the rest of the sectorial has in it, and what kind of support it can call on?
They seem to suggest that the trooper profile is going to be based mainly around it being a sectorial troop.
Meanwhile, the Kriza Boracs is a very interesting profile.
Especially comparing the Kamau to the Bagh-Mari makes them look very bad.
But that could be because the Bagh-Mari are amazing. Bolts less so

You mean the Cutter? yes, it will be there.
Wanted to say the same thing, the Cutter is a TO Camo, Aquatic Terrain TAG that has been a part of Varuna from the beginning.

IIRC, there is a PanO TAG that has Aquatic Terrain already. It just doesn’t come up often because you don’t see much Aquatic terrain scenarios.
When is the release of those boxes? After the Preorder phase?

You can’t form a Fireteam as they’re different troop types, but they’re both available to vanilla
I’ve never seen BoW give away prizes to those from other countries not in EU or the USA. Is their drawing system rigged?

Kriza is a really heavy hitter for Tunguska, I can’t wait to see the sectorial. Definitely will use 360 visor m12! Especially with the new full auto rules.
I can wait to see how a fire team of Kamau tears up the board.

pretty and powerful. this is something that Infinity has needed for awhile. Other game designers may want to take note of how this system of rules integration and expansions will bring players into the fold and continue to teach the game.
Interesting where their taking some of the Nomads with the Kriza Boracs.

That Kriza pose…that’s the opening shot of an anime if I ever saw one. Standing atop a towering skyscraper, foot up on edge, looking out over the city, scanning for his target, ready to leap from that impossible height and plunge to earth, slam his fist into the ground, and then just absolutely wreck anyone who gets in his way. Good stuff.

That Full Auto is nice and so is the Kriza Boracs, not 100% sure about the Kamau though.

Kriza Boracs looks like great Nomad Heavy Metal. And I think I might hire on some of those Pan mercs for my Nomads. Everyone is a merc for the right price!
I have to agree. That 4-2 move was a lil’disheartening. I am happy with the rest of it tho. And holy cow, full auto is awesome. Can’t wait to see what other model s will obtain that tasty skill.

I have to say, I’m glad I started learning Infinty recently. This game has some of the best rules and sculpts of any miniature game I’ve played and the community is one of the most helpful ones I’ve ever encountered. These new boxed sets show how great the sculpting is.
The kammau is a second franco nisse sounds very good to me and the rocket launcher too.

The Kriza Boracs looks absolutely brutal and Full Auto sounds brilliant… and in a Fire Team Duo it sounds even better 🙂

Kriza borac as a sign of incoming Tunguska sectorial is something big. Literally!
After reading a few lines i didn’t get all the stats. My favourite is yu jing, so i go on reading.
I already have Operation: Icestorm but red veil looks amazing and these beyond packs are incredible.

One of my biggest concerns with how good this looks is that I will end up buying operation red veil and both beyond boxes to fill out my Infinity collection to four nice 300 pt armies.
I’m interested by the Tunguska sectorial, but in the meantime I’ll probably use the Kriza Borac as a taskmaster proxy for my beloved Bakunin.
One day I’ll get a gaming group for the games I collect and paint (*cough* occasionally). Until then I’ll nod and smile, sure *sounds* impressive:)

The Full Auto rules are rather interesting.
Obviously, it makes the Boracs into a unique choice, but I’m wondering what other units might possibly end up with the rule in the future.
With the Kamau confirmed to be 4-4, and getting a Core Fireteam in future Sectorial… they are way too good for their price.

Full auto seems to be another work around into dealing with Link teams like nimbus grenades.

These guys really know how to make minis. These are so awesome looking and then you add in Angel’s painting… wow …. just awestruck. Who wouldn’t want these.

So glad I held out for Varuna as my PanO sectorial.
Models are awesome and nomads doubly so, echoing last comment would adore if I won some infinity from the contest.
I literally just bought more troops for my non starter set armies lol 3 weeks ago to get them to match up. My bank account is literally crying now. Well off to look for some overtime.
Love the infinity coverage as usual.
I guess it’s logical they only talked about the Kamau and Borak, but I somehow keep illogically waiting for new troop profiles for the Red Veil box troops :P.
Still, the Kamau seem to be *very* nice (and look to be absolutely devastating in Varuna), and that Full Auto is just… wow.
… Dammit, I’ve already got Aleph and Haqqislam, and I just started Yu Jing with Red Veil (those minis were just too lovely not to keep alongside my Haqqs), I shouldn’t be thinking about starting a fourth faction by picking up Icestorm and its beyond box too! Stop doing such awesome miniatures for factions other than mine! ^^’
That Kriza Boracs… I think Carlos is right, he’s an 800-lb gorilla. Park him somewhere and make your opponent deal with him. Full Auto sounds like tons of fun.

Being new to the game, I can say that these miniatures look phenomenal and I’ll be grabbing all of them while I decide what army I want to fully dive into

The Kriza looks awesome. More about the mini than the stats since they don’t mean a great deal to me.
It’s so hard to choose a faction, so many beautiful minis.
Of course a prize win could really help the decision….
Super Heavy Infantry + Russian background + Doom Armor-ish = Pure love.
Can’t wait to use a duo of that Kriza when Acheron Falls comes (Or whatever name they change it to).

It sounds terrifying, it’s a very great leveller for dealing with high modifier (ODD, mimitism, cover) things on your active turn. it’s nice that it’s vulnerable in the reactive which makes it very good but predictable.

That full auto is absolutely beast, and seeing some new respect for the SwissGuard. I can hardly wait for this set… now let’s see the Beyond Red Veil.
Kriza looks to be almost as bulky as the Gecos are.

Sounds like Nomads can start a sci-fi sumo wrestling competition. Given that they’re Nomads, they probably will.

But that Krica Borac is a great looking model and a the paint job is superb.
That Kamau multi-sniper looks pretty unpleasant, doubly so if it’s in a fireteam for mimetic, msv2 b2 da sniper rounds in aro.

Kamua – Panoceania – Some very cool stats and options for a line trooper. Awesome looking model too.
Kriza Boracs – Nomads – Have to be careful how I’d paint that one because it could end up looking like some of the hulking Combined Army guys out there. The Mobile Brigada was already an awesome model. Not sure if you aught to have this guy replace him or run him as well as the Mobile Brigada? Nice to have 2 cool heavier guys when I have no Nomad TAG. Yet. 🙂

the kamau with that movement is not idea for a mobile fireteam, but as a pillbox?
2 combi (hey even one as Lt), a paramedic and 2 HMG (2SWC 123pts) or 2 sniper rifles (3SWC 131pts)
those HMGs and Sniper rifles are going to be hitting on 19s at most good ranges, the MSV2 making the snipers even more deadly
although, I think the slow movement doesn’t suit the background of being similar to Navy Seals which is a shame

Loving the new model designs and it’s always interesting to find out the background as to how they have been developed. I like the designs for both pano and ju jing so tempted by both beyond sets!

Beautiful figures, some of these have some nasty stats.
Full Auto Level 2: When you have absolutely have to kill every PanO in the room, accept no substitute.
Some very nice profiles, but there no match for the “45th Highlanders” with there “Kilts” (or is it there kilts) flapping in the wind coming for there blood.
Looking forward to see what the new Yu Jing can do. I hope in future we may see a Combined starter set.
