Three videos for one model?! I really need to learn how to paint better and more detailed.
Everyone needs that… luckily, it’s fun ! 🙂
I’ve done video tutorials in five or six parts before.
Perhaps above tabletop standard might be a slight understatement, it’s bloody fantastic. You make picking out the details seem so easy and straightforward. Think I will push myself to attempt this level, the difference between single coloured swords and what you’ve done is just insane.
I’m extremely flattered ! You’ll see, when the miniature is well sculpted, and you’re focused, it’s nice and easy.
This is sculpture standard, not tabletop standard :p
Very nicely done. And I really like keeping all the paints to one range. It makes it easier to replicate even if just by finding equivalents more easily.
Very very nice. I love the finish on the sword and the whole mini looks like a hellenic hellboy. Would really like to see Romain work on some of the new sculpts CMoN showed for the Shael Han celestials.
Thank you ! I’d like to work on that as well… Shael Han are my darlings, actually. We’ll see !
Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for taking the time to do these tutorials. I learn so much.
I like how these articles include the paints actually used. It’s a nice touch.
Very well done. That poisonous cloud looks great. I picked up a lot thanks.
and this is how a great painter paints a miniature!
Romain makes this all seem so easy. Every time I watch one of his tutorials I learn something. I am going to have to try and replicate some of these techniques on some of the models that I am working on. Thanks for the great videos.
Really useful tips
Always a pleasure to watch Romain work …
Beautiful work. Super clean
This extra bit at the end are the kind of thing I usually don’t do .
Ah, but it’s the most fun ! This is where the miniature really comes alive… Mind you, you don’t have to do this for the rank and file, or not as much.
Thanks everyone ! I’m glad you liked it !
Nice work
So much learning…Thank you so much for making all of these wonderful videos.
Might be because Im colour bind but I didnt even see th green in the picture until you talked about it. Lovely model. Can we win that too? 😉
Great use of colors
Lovely model. The rules are awesome. Plus highlighting is my favorite part
What does the p6 by my name mean lol
Nice model in the end
Final effect is great!
Great job Sir, I have been watching your videos for a few days now. I going to strive to make myself a better painter. I really like your color theory videos, makes me sit back and just observe life’s true colors and how light effects everything.
And a special thanks to you, sir, for going back to basics. Top of the class !
Nice final touches! So much fun watching these models progress
stunning the devil is in the detail? Romain.
I really wish I had the time and patience to paint that well
Your tutorials this week have been nothing short of amazing! Thank you!
Fantastic paint job, thanks beasts of war
watched all three videos! Loved them.
I like the amount of depth that this video go to.
I used mine for a devil playing muscle for a cult that worships fiends in the D&D.
He’s a nice bonus in the Nasier starter box.
Very useful video. Learned quite a bit. Can’t wait to try some of these things out.
Love all your painting tutorials and seeing the processes used. My painting has improved immensely watching them. Explaining how the cold and warm colours interact I have found especially useful in this tutorial. Thanks for all the great work!
He makes it seem so easy. I will need to practise even harder.
It’s nice to see the paint job propgressing from base colors, to tabletop standard, to display standard. It may be interesting to revisit the miniature later and make another tutorial to get it to that competition level. Highlight the differences and additions between a ‘common’ paint job and competition level.
Great videos. I learn a little more each time I watch these.
turned out very nice. need to start painting again.
Thanks for the tutorial, I’m a big fan of the NMM on the shield especially. Horns really turned out well too.
I’m really new to painting miniatures and watching these videos is daunting and inspiring at the same time
I can’t wait to get into painting. This is amazing work
That really looks nice.
Another brilliant tutorial. I’m definitely going to be trying my hand at some NMM after how easy you’ve made it look.
Looks so good!
amazing painting ! quel talent !
thanks for all those advices et tuto.
you guys do awesome painting guides
I’ve got a unit of goat cav to paint soon. I can see me stealing those horns.
I agree that is really good for table top quality and with some more time could be studio quality.
awesome paint job i had a lot of practice to do…
Magnificent job on that one.
