Terrain Showcase: Jesserai Industrial Set
December 5, 2017 by dignity
Cad and Ben from 4Ground are in the studio to show off their epic Jesserai Industrial Terrain Black Friday Bundle.
4Ground have developed a system that allows all the pieces of this pre-painted kit to attach together using strong magnets. This makes setting up your own configuration of environments, cover, and objectives very quick and easy.
This particular bundle will allow you to build a 2.5’ by 2.5’ table, consisting of 22 different kits which can be seen here.
Bundle Giveaway!
You could be in with a chance of winning this £400 mega bundle! All you have to do is leave a comment below telling us:
What you would like to see expanded into this range, and what would you name your own industrial sector?

That is amazing! It’d work great with my AvP collection! 😮
OMG This is perfecting timing what with Necromunda just out. The possibilities are endless and not just with Necromunda but many other games and maybe some different types of crane add on’s.
Now what would I name my sector, “Deep Magma Horizon.”
$ground just keep getting better all the time.
That very clever. @ 4Ground you guy need a jig or something so all the magnet for every kit has the same polarity so when my friends and i buy these kits they work together. something simple as painting one side could help.
Oooh! I want! Covers so many games, necromunda, infinity, could work for spectre ops too. Could be a great start for a batman ace chemicals table.bwould like to see some chemical vats! 😀
this sett looks cool, I can see som industrial espionage mission for Infinity with this kit
this would also work great for Dark-Age.
I’d call it ‘ReSikal Station 73’
I think that some tanks with toxic material, or melted iron like in Terminator 2 would be cool for the next expansion. I would name it Ostrava.
This is very clever. From my knowledge of industrial zones what is needed are a few porta-cabin type buildings that serve as administration and security buildings. Of course they are also required for such things as a kettle, teabags and coffee facilities!
Expanding the sett, with a office, a mess hall, and a entrance gate
My sett would be “Area 42”
I presume this is timed with Necromunda, but I can see it working with Deadzone and MERCS as well as a dozen other sci-fi skirmish games. I love modular terrain like my battlezones, and I’d like to see more. How about walk up noodle shops as seen in Bladerunner, or rows of vending machines that are popular in Japan, or a mechanic’s building that can service anything from cars to power armor. While using magnets, I’d like to see functional elevators and some quick setup temporary barriers for construction and traffic funneling. I’m terrible at names, though. Porta Capena was a temple to Mars, and I do like the sound of that for a district.
I’d add some large open topped chemical vats with walkways over them so you have to avoid being knocked off into them. Think The Joker in Batman.
I’d call my industrial sector Terraforming Station Alpha.
I would add some short (connectable) barrier walls as expansions into the range, as there always needs to be more scatter terrain. 🙂
I would name an industrial sector “Slag Hill District”.
The timing is superb with releases elsewhere in the industry (and related pre-orders from my favourite online retailer) but this works with so many sci-fi games. I’ve not picked up any Jesserai stuff so far (hadn’t needed to until Necromunda landed) but this looks like the beginnings of an incredibly impressive range.
I’ll call it fab zone. Geddit?
I would like to see small working lights in red or similar that could be attached to the buildings. My sector would be called ‘Sector MH-15’
It would be a nice Ace Chemical set for Batman Miniature Game.
This set is just begging for landing pad, its so much Aliens 2 movie set. I would love to play AvP on that table.
Very nice. Perfect for the new Necromunda.
Outstanding! I’d like to see a metal foundry or a construction slipway
An industrial zone needs industrial equipment …assembly line machinery … generator with power grid … large press or vat … what is being made at the complex.
Super suds soda producting facility number 217 … mass producing all your favorite flavors of acidity sludge in a wide range of colors!
This looks amazing, would love this set for necromunda! I would like to see some more industrial equipment, forges, Furness’s, conveyer belts etc. I would probably name it “mad dogs rig” after my Goliath gang leader!
Wow this could work for just about every non fantasy system out there. Time to break out the Spectre Ops AvP mash up game.
I would love to see some kind of landing platform for some VTOL or other dropships.
I would name it “Pumpstation 25-Z8”
I think there’s a landing pad for this set already, although technically not for the industrial look…
That has to be the best industrial scenery I have seen. I think I would name it Forge Plant Singularus.
And possaby add a furnace with smoke stack.
This would be a prize of epic proportions, just got back into wargaming and looking at creating my own ‘home ground’ and this would be perfect to get the ball rolling, possibilities are endless!
I think if I was to add anything it would be scatter terrain, a few industrial vehicles maybe to throw around the board, and some industrial effluence (a river of slime ala Ghostbusters 2!)
I would name my industrial wasteland, The Heap, thrown together and abandoned deep in the hive long ago. Maybe stick a few ancient decaying corpses on it for good measure.
Wow! You could use this for sooo many stuff, but at the Moment i thinking about an Imperial Weapon Facility IF-12785 on Sullust Building AT-STs for the upcoming StarWars Legion. And for that i would add a Radar Dish or crane
Needs a loading dock extension. I would like to see a repair bay structure as there are a lot of scenarios you can have for capture the secret weapon.
Name: Sector 61 Cygni
I would like to see some Gothic embellishments expanded into this range, and I would name my own industrial sector Alveare Primaris.
I can’t remember the name.. but this would be an amazing chemical works in batman.. a few chemical vats to drop people into.. question is? Jack Nicholson joker scene or the recent suicide squad Harley scene???
Fantastic, that is perfect for Necromunda
This would combine well with some of the other pdf kits now available. Necromunda here we come.
Amazing as always.
I think I would like to see items partially constructed and damaged. Maybe some hab units and vendor stalls. Yes it seems odd but those things do pop up around construction and industrial work sites.
As for a name for my set, I think I would call it the name of one of the large “evil” corporations in my sci-fi games, Staaric Industrial, Unit – 777.
I’d add some alternative color schemes and larger buildings. I’d call it “Production Facility Foxtrot Tango Whiskey.”
Wow, what an absolutely AMAZING set! 4Ground have done the business yet again 😀
For me, I’d love to see a drilling platform with a drill, really up the industrial feel to this set. It would easily be applicable for ore or oil! My kit? I’d likely give it an industrial name, like Drilling Platform 42 or something like that… The beauty of this kit though, one day it could be Platform 42, the next if could be Refinery 02! Superb
I would suggest Loading bays/docks, heavy equipment bays, parts bays/shops, an industrial forge and a Mine head as add-ons! I would name this set… Ferrous Combine Dig Sit number 245!
It needs a portaloo (or chemical toilet if you prefer) as games don’t include toilets… and toilets are perfect places for creatures to lurk.
I’d call my industrial sector ‘The Sanitation Zone’
This is an amazing set did look at picking one up one black Friday but just don’t have the money. Would love to see some forges or chemical labs maybe a security office also an add on set of extra ladders would be cool. Might be tempted to name it sector mechanic’s or Dunder Mifflin only kidding. Lets go for Installation 24.
That’s an amazing scenery!
I’d name it Moto.tronica area 42
I would try a Oil Rig Platform and name it Mega City One. @4ground you guys need a Master magnet enclosed in plastic so the polarity is constant for all kit you can build
Cranes, grabbers and giant industrial tool to build a ship yard with a star field play mat represrnting it floating freely in space. So any attack that moves a model risks drifing for ever.
i could see this being used for a ACE chemicals plant in batman.
I would go with calling my layout. Complex Delta, or known locally as the “hell Pit”
Haqqislam silk refinery? Yes.
Great work. Very versatile. I agree that some loading area (cranes, etc.) would be nice to have.
In terms of name, I’d say “Sector 4 Gamma”.
Karzok Ward 5? Needs some vehicles, cargo haulers, maybe anti grav or flyers?
this is brilliant. personally i would weather it quite a bit to make it much grittier and fit for my travels to the lower pits of the underhive. loving it!
I would expand this set with a manufacturing site; conveyer belts and processing units, generators and stuff.
Also, a enforcer station would be nice, or a loading bay for airborne transports, or seaborne ones. Like, docking strips and Cargobays.
Or a Transit system, magtrain, or some such.
I would name it something like: Toshi heavy industry sector sigma.
Or, Mercantile Sector Epsilon.
Or, Docking Station Angelus Bravo.
Cheers!
Holy Smokes! I’ve seen this a pop up a couple of times and I’ve thought “yeah, looks pretty cool”
But! Seeing it in action is fascinating! It’s a very impressive set! and it looks like it would hold up to gaming really well!
Watching Ben play with it whilst he talks you through it, his passion is so infectious!
I can’t wait to see what else comes out for this, the rooms sound interesting. It would be great to see if it can be made to look like an interior sector, rooms would help alot with this. Like one giant Hanger!
I’d call my sector: The Liberty Prime Hanger. Can ya guess which game I wanna use with this? 😉
Wow, 4Ground just keep getting better and better! This is what happens when gamers do terrain, it’s do well thought out down to the tiniest details
Love it!
The most amazing thing about these terrain pieces is the amount of small detail. Looking at the pictures, then coming back I have discovered new items and little treasures every time. The ability to immerse yourself with the story of the game and setting is what makes this type of terrain such an awesome item. If only they had had these in the good old days my games of toy soldiers would have been incredible. I am glad I have stayed in the hobby long enough to see incredible terrain kits like these become available.
Wow that’s so beautiful, it could be great for Dark Age or Infinity!
Perfect for Necromunda…
It would be cool to see some industrial cranes that could be attached to the tops of the platforms creating a dockland kind of vibe. It would have to have a mundane name like, Pier VII. Great stuff from 4Ground once again.
This screams “Necromunda Underhive” on top of it’s lungs.
Also I do offer a very warm an cozy house for the above set 😉
Great looking setup and using magnets to hold it all together is a big plus. Perfect for Necromunda. Rogue Stars and my forthcoming copy of Core Space. Might even have to get round to painting up the Maelstrom’s Edge minis I’ve sitting in their box for ages!
I’d call it the Weyland-Yutani Human Waste Converter.
great work 4ground, still can’t afford you though
Holy crud that was well thought out.Got to love 4ground. Plasma Field.
I would love to see a industrial city slums add on that would be where the workers live in poor living conditions with stores, bars and living quarters on different levels. I would call my Industrial Set the Orion Exhumer Inc.
This looks awesome… But in order to build it I would need to borrow @dignity just for a day or 7… Lol
That is the best terrain set ever!!!
I would use the plant for 40k. I know it might suit Necromunda or Infinity better, but I have been desperate to find something more fun than the average demolished city setting. I might separate the set out to 2 or 3 work areas and join with pipes, the cool trunking on show or a collection of containers.
If I had to name it I might tie it back to Infinity for inspiration. During Operation Flamestrike my battle reports told the tale of an Ariadna force sent to hide a secret. A vein of rich Tesium was found on Flamia Island and an Ariadna mining corp. chose to hide the fact from the Yu Jing owners of the island. To cover their extraction of the precious metal they asked the authorities to establish a Tesium recycling centre on the island. After a few palms were greased the centre opened. Then war broke out. If the base is over run by any other faction the mining underneath will be found and a massive interplanetary political incident will unfold. This area of the base would be called Trojan Sector 47.
its very nice! just in time for all the sci fi coming back
Well that would be perfect for Necromunda.. I’ve got the ruins of Daldoor set (well except the Blasted Tower bit). I FEAR how many passed out posties would be on your drive trying to deliver it (that’s a LOT of MDF). I’m amazed at the mesh on the walkways, that can’t be cut MDT (if must be a plastic inset or something).
But now for my actual “entry” comment (rather than the first impulse reaction)
I would like to see some actual “buildings” added to the set. Along the lines of a maintenance shed and/or storage shed. And finally a “X days since our last accident” sign 😀
I would call it “Smogland (helping to lower your home heating costs today……..who needs an ozone layer anyway” (there’s almost a jingle in there somewhere)……..
I’d love to see a crane attachment, foreman’s office or open vat containers. It would be great for Batman
Very versatile..would be cool to work in landing pads for speeders or larger craft or a repair facility.
I would name a sector SCTR-ASH27 the Ash Hollows
Forklifts, pallete-jacks, some sort of conveyor system.
I’d really like to see some stairways or hatches down to lower levels (that are “under the table”and therefore beyond reach – think like Batman subway and manhole entrances) as I feel this gives an already excellent set even more authenticity. How about some fencing? Emergency shower / eye wash stations?
Call it Sector Four Gamma and keep up the good work.
Necromunda, HERE I COME!
I would love to see a mech factory would be cool. I would love this for 40k and even starfinder rpg imagine the role-playing table you could build
I would like to see some sort of hall way set so that you can have a couple of these connected together like an underground complex or space station. I would call it the hub because you could have so many things branching off of it.
Expanding the set, I would like to see some sort of alien infection – surfaces covered in organic, living tissue, possibly spreading during a game. Birthing chambers and hive spires as add-ons, creating a nightmarish industrial scene. I would name my industrial zone, “Zenos Industries”
That set looks incredible! Must have for the Mars terrain a friend and I are trying to create for our 40k games.
There is just so much that you could do with this set, could even be used for weird world war, can we say Konflilkt 47, Shadow war: Armageddon, Necromunda, anything 40K or even AvP just create some 3D rules…
If talking about adding to the set, the mind boggles as to what is can not be built, especially when we’re talking about the guys from 4ground, just thinking pneumatic hammers, forges for smelting, conveyor lines set with automated bots creating whatever your mind can think of…
The choices with this kind of kit are endless…
I’d love to see a biodome with plant life in it connected to air tanks and filters. I’d name my industrial zone “Hiveport XVII”
I would name it Trantor the capital planet from Asimov’s Foundation series. This would fit in during the cities downfall.
I reckon to heavy industrial machinery would be a good addition, you could have a gallery of big forge hammers or robot arms with a conveyor running down the middle. I would call it “Hammerfall Foundry”
Wargamers lego you could spend ages just building let alone playing any games.
Oh my goodness! Came so close to ordering this behemoth on Black Friday and then jibbed out and instantly regretted it – now this video comes out to taunt me for my hesitancy/financial prudence. What an absolute marvel this is, well done to all involved at 4Ground for what has to already be in contention for a future award here. Very classy of you to give folks here the chance to get it again too.
As to the competition; I would call mine Cornovii-Imerys Corp (or CIP) in reference to the large-scale clay quarries operating here at home under the real life company IMERYS. I would love to create a sci-fi re-imagining of some of the places I work at on occasion. I’ve already decided to start taking photos now of some of the (until now) very boring industrial installations I visit as hobby research!
As to what I’d like to see added, definitely some sort of conveyor system – ideally with working belts (possibly sandpaper around turning cams/gears – what do I know!) – and can foresee missions to secure locations or shut down machinery before a certain amount of product passes through (could be a really cool turn marking system). Also I would love some sort of hanger type structure to add in vehicles and finally just loads of cool colourful scatter pieces like containers/drums/crates to act as a sharp counter-point to the lovely shades of grey.
I would expand it to a lower level: industrial sewers, and I would name it “Raw Sewage”.
My name: ‘The Sump Jungle’ . That being said, what I would like to see is smaller pipes.
I would add some chemical waste vats and pools, and I’d call it Sump Sector 7.
Just ordered a set for my school’s gaming club as it’s also an excellent example of what we can do with a laser and some MDF!!!
Great stuff 4ground. This really is gorgeous.
A landing platform or freight hauler would be cool, I would call it forge primus
This is one of the most amazing kits that I’ve seen yet! To name my own Company it would have to be ” Tyro-Corp” to fit the Genestealer Cult I’m playing. Things to add a missile launch sight, mono- rail to run through the complex and make it so the car runs under the rail and can be attached to the rest of the terrain with magnets, large video screen for public viewing, walkway covers, conveyor belt and dump sight, a tracked crane used for building the equipment so it should have a grabbing claw instead of a cable or chain.
I would name the thing Cularius.
Conveyor belts or assembly lines are my favourite for an expansion, because they hopefully add to the feeling that production is really on.
Those many floors remind me of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith”, the scenes on the volcanic planet where the epic duel is fought out. Lay down some lava streams around and then let a Superjedi and a Supersith combat it out over the whole complex, like Obi War-zan Obi against Darth M´Auley.
The magnet system is magnificent. It is so strong.
Some sheeting could be nice so you can board up railings for some harder cover.
Or some type of chimneys.
If it would be darker with smoke belching chimneys, I would call it the dark spire. Perfect for some apocalyptic gaming.
Why does it seem like the 4Ground Crew has put in quite a bit of thought behind the lore for this terrain. It makes me wonder what they are planning on doing with it.
Name is Disney Toy Industry Zone 66. Fun for the whole family.
I would love to see a big spherical storage tank. I’d call my facility Hephaestus.
So far the terrain is mostly girders and silo’s, I’d like to see some actual machinery, for example cranes or cargo elevators, air purification/treatment units etc. I’d call my own industrial sector “Processing plant Slaghenge Lambda-4″
Love the set! Would like to see a destroyed / damaged variant of one of the sets and would name it Sector 19.
From the perspective of one who works in a refinery, I suggest you probably want add a couple of things such as:
1.) A tall tower (ladder access only at its base) for a sniper perch. Look up a distillation tower.
2.) Heat exchangers. Looks up shell and tube heat exchangers. Basically a bank of horizontal cylinders that could be used as cross-field cover. They are usually stacked on top of each other and side-to-side so that all the flat fronts are equally accessible.
I’ve bought a few pieces of 4ground terrain before and I’ve found them to be possibly over-complicated? For example, I assembled a simple dumpster the other day and all 4 of its sides were made of 2 parts each. It seemed like the design could be simplified – both for fewer parts and easier assembly.
For a name, industrial facilities are usually innocuously named (on purpose) for nearby communities or natural features. For Infinity terrain, something like Paradiso Northern Refinery Hydrocracker Expansion phase? Hahah!
It looks wonderful but I think I’d need to see it first hand as the webstore lists it as 15mm terrian so I’d wonder if its big enough for necromunda.
On the other hand I think 15-18mm scale would be ideal for gaming I’m just not aware of any games that do minis, rules and settings that appeal enough to invest.
It looks really impressive when its all connected together.
The ranges need a control room (maybe one of the other building in the ranges might work)
I probably name it something nondescript like sector 17
wow just wow very cool
Wow that is an amazing kit, the games you could play on it.
I’d name mine Beastground.
Wats of chemicals would be cool (preferably green chems)
I would name mine E.V.I.L Chems 😉
would be cool for BMG, 40K and neromunda I want to play all of them on that bord
I’d like to buy a grim, gritty and rundown version of this maybe to use in a recently released game 🙂
As an individual item though I’d say one kind of conveyer belt that actually looks like it serves a purpose e.g. Is connected to a machine.
I would name my industrial zone BOB
Perfect timing with Necromunda just arriving.
This is the Daedalus sector in the industrial part of the hive. What I miss is a big crane so you could move parts of the terrain around. Simply a brilliant kit!
I’d like to see the types of machinery used on industrial sites. So gantry cranes, conveyor belts, incinerators. I’d like to have a large building with a gantry system within that is built around a 1/2 constructed spaceship, with cranes and claws holding / transporting the next components of the spaceship from outside to inside this central building.
Given the type of world this is from a name would imply that the place and the people are important. Surely it should just be called Industrial Site #09021.
I will love to see a magnetized sewer sublevel option. Where your gangmembers can go around.
I will call it “The slum tunnels”
@crimsonsun there are two jesseria scales on 4ground’s website. So there is a 28mm scale. At the end of the video Justin shows off what the set looks like with a couple of 28mm miniatures
I love wargaming around industrial buildings. Maybe it’s because where I live they are everywhere. Anyway, I’d like to see more functional catwalks going higher and in maybe a modular connectivity. My industrial complex would be “The Petrodome!”
the development of a refinery would be neat with tanker loading bays a central control complex with landing pad atop maybe even a land based oil rig as we all need resources to fight over during narrative play and campaigns.
id call it deep core 030 or some such number like that which could tie in with many scenarios, hell even include a transfer sheet with numerical options signage etc
So cool, too many games for this type of terrain 🙂 need a big Harland and Wolff crane, huge fecker 😉 or a rocket gantry. Too many names. Head starting to melt, too cool
Great stuff.
I would call mine ‘Oil meet again’
This is amazing! Would love to see some open topped Chem Vats! Like you have some of the train set water effect plastic on the top in a recess to look like horrible, flesh melting chemicals.
Gonna have to look at this for Sector Ash Welles for my Orlocks to defend!
That is a truly impressive system. Great to have 4Ground guys explain it, I didn’t really catch from photos that this range worked so well together and how clever the magnets system is.
I think this’d fit well for Beyond the Gates of Antares, as a Boromite minining colony. For that some bit more high sci-fi addons would be nice. Maybe I’d have this as contested mining sector fought over by two rival Boromite gangs, the Benomites and the Cadomites, who’d call it respectively, Benomia or Cadomia.
Wow amazing looking terrain. I would like to see some more industrial equipment, Furness’s, ,stacks ,scatter terrain / industrial vehicles, drums, etc .This would be great for necromunda and infinity. I would name my table Black Horizon .
This set seems like an absolute must now that I have received my necromunda shipment…here is hoping I can win as this would seriously set my wallet back…who needs to eat anyway right?
Would definitely like some themed buildings like a security shack or power station. I would Name my sector Dashville after the Hydro plant near my childhood home
That’s a great big pile of terrain, complete set in one hit! Some sort of smelter or furnace would be great to add to it. And do industrial zones have names other than something like sector 7G?
The everything fits in comment, weirdly made me think of the Spinal Tap comment, of “everything must be folded.”
This set cries out for a massive crane to drop a bunch of metal parts on unsuspecting robocops, together with a few vats of molten sludge or toxic acid waste to drop the Joker in.
I would call mine The New Detroit Foundry
…because the future has a silver lining.
I am constantly amazed by the quality produced by 4ground and this set is fantastic! I would like some battle damaged sections you could mix in with the sets. I imagine something similar to when the marines enter the colony in Aliens
This is so badass! I think I’d be super happy if there were construction vehicles and other scatter terrain added to the mix. I’d call my site, ‘The ironfields’. Just one section of a huge factory, ideal for a campaign due to the flexibility of the kits. Nice!
This just screams Necromunda to me.
That is amazing! Would love to play a game on this.
I think I’d name it ‘Thornham Waste Water Treatment Plant’ after a facility local to where I live and which causes local residents as much trouble as any alien-infested terraforming facility!
Well done 4Ground absolutely marvellous kit.
I would like to see this expanded to include a fast breeder nuclear reactor and I would call my industrial sector Angel Beach.
I keep telling myself I don’t need more terrain, but we all know that’s a lie
I would like to see construction cranes and machinery. my name would be Olympia Foundry
Looks great, would love to see some industrial tools/machines. Stuff Ripley can use to smash xenos!
I’d name it Ares Terra-forming Inc….ATI Industrial complex
looks a great versatile set.
Man that is an incredible set! The magnet placement on the bases and on the parts are excellent! My suggestions for add-ons are a conveyor system, a rock grinder, and a smelting furnace. I would call my industrial sector: Belghost Industria
Say it once, say it a thousand times. Its still true from the first time to the last time (WOW)….
The Stella 6 Site, (TS6S) or known by its workers (Industrial Hell Hole).
Shacks and Workers homes… Corrugate buildings/ Fencing. not everyone has the ability to live in company stile buildings. Cheap labor
I could see myself sitting for hours just see the random builds I could come up with. being a Space Wolf player I think I would call it Forge of the Iron Wolf.
I would love to see some industrial equipment added to the line, such as a crane set and also some kind of robotic equipment or conveyor systems. As to what to call it, I think I’d go for Slag Bottom Sump, to pick up the Necromunda feel.
Needs a Trash Compacter!
& call it Agbogbloshie [the #1 ranked most polluted place, circa 2013]
http://www.rediff.com/business/slide-show/slide-show-1-special-10-most-polluted-places-in-the-world/20131111.htm#1
Blaster was here… & a monolith type structure, as in he Agbogbloshie pic, to *celebrate* the naming would be awesomeness too!
I did a spin in my swivel chair when I saw the Jesserai Industrial range. I work in a manufacturing facility, and to expand the range, the walkways and vats need to be accompanied by processing stages that give purpose to the facility.
Given the partially terraformed Martian setting, I would be inclined to include Jesserai Industrial Ore Processing – for the collection, crushing and refining of rocks. In a skirmish game, having conveyer belts that act to either accelerate or hinder movement would be pretty cool. I can imagine the recovery roll for a downed soldier becomes a little more critical when they’re moving towards a vertical feed crusher or molten pool.
Add to this skips and a container handling crane…
Totally ama terrain from the 4Ground guys, I would love to own one too!
If I did I would call it “Sector Persepimus” and maybe add the hangar too.
this terrain set is outstandinding 4Ground really took terrain to the next lvl!
wow nice system.. like to see modular offices/habitation/mess hall bar etc…. Emo (environment modular operation)
How about a sanitation station with plenty of trash compactors and moving conveyor belts? Then you could make up rules for moving hazards. Maybe some front end loaders to dump protesters in Soylent Green style?
I can see this terrain used for Other game systems like infinity maybe an objective room or a fencing gate set system. honestly i would call it terra facility 1 and maybe have it be a refugeefacility or a rebel outpost set up as an abandoned compound. using the crate moded into house’s. man this kit is really something special.
I would name my terrain set “Industrial Zone 6”. But yay that is definitely some very cool terrain.
Dr. Pyros Fizzly Soda Refinery… This would be ideal for cyberpunk like Shadowrun or even the new Fallout game with some weathering…
Okay it needs a loading/Unloading zone sections because every industrial complex has one of the those, sometimes three
As for name of it I would go classic Zone A-65
This is simply AWESOME!!!
So many games can be played on that.
I’d call it: Hazard Station. The only thing i would add to this terrain, is a industrial crane or, maybe a cargo lift up a big tower.
Again guys: Awesome 🙂
Have seen magnets on maybe 100 minis … seeing it on terrain is a first for me.
Manufacturing plants have supplies in product out layouts … 4ground production works like that … other production plants do too … sooo …
Railways for mines or smelting … reviving/shipping docks … product processing … chemical distillation … assembly lines … and plenty of access to the moving parts for maintenance and replacement of failed parts.
I would like to see some stand alone storage tanks to go with it so that you could build a tank farm. Of course that would mean you would need some smaller diameter piping to connect it all. I might name it Nova-Kem refinery 23.
Very cool. I want this for Necromunda! Just amazed at what this kit has!!!
Oh pleeeaaassse pick me. This stuff looks amazing! -)
To answer the question: a slum hab complex for all the sweatshop types that need to run the place… or a cooling tower with lots of walkways spiraling up its sides. I’d call it Singularity Station… implying that dangerous things are being manufactured there, things that could go boom and inflate into a new universe.
Nice! Lighting options would be awesome.
Maybe a crane or other types of heavy construction equipment.
Conveyor belts (or conveyor buckets).
Small office or ‘command hub’.
This is an awesome set from 4ground, but to be honest these guys never seem to drop the ball these days and knock it out the park every time!
Additions in the future = maybe some toxic pools, or industrial vehicles/machinery? As for naming the set I’d call mine TecroBunda….. then look nervously at Games Workshop, and give them a little awkward smile….
I see that to fit nicely with Infinity. I really like the details in terms of practicality. Job well done.
That looks very impressive, and again, would be perfect for Necromunda. We’ve played a few games on the Zone Mortalis tiles so far, and have discovered that T3 Escher gangers kept in close proximity to T4 Goliaths does not necessarily go well! May also have been my rolling 😛
I reckon this would do well with some forge terrain – like the Geonosian foundries from Clones. Huge smelting buckets, some ruined, some still functioning – runnels for molten metal, perhaps some other refinery pieces, like a rock crusher! (Imagine kicking a fighter into that haha)
I was rather inspired by the Necromunda background of the old colony ships or settlements still being interred deep under the foundations of the Hive. I’d imagine such a place would become steeped in superstitious dread, but also a myth of great wealth and riches. Temple of Old Iron? Cathedral of Lost Metal? Ferrous Vault? Perhaps it would be simpler, indicating a distant long forgotten past: Iron’s Rest, Vault Landing, The First Step…. now those could be district names.
+
“No-one knows exactly when the Temple of Old Iron was discovered kid. Some say a hive-quake near on thirty ans opened it up. Others claim the Temple is more mysterious, someone will find a way in once every few cycles then never find it ever again. Most say its cursed, and never go there. Still, they go out every so often – with their ratskin trackers and hired gangers. Tales of Iron’s Rest, Vault Landing… or The First Step all come back. Load of hokum if you ask me. I don’t put no stock in tales of strange sigils, weird designs or archaeotech. All anyone needs is solid iron beneath and solid iron above… and you remember that.”
Wow what a great collection of terrain, this is going to be a hit with the new necromunda game! A really great job from the guys over at 4ground! (As always ;))
I would love to see some sort of train/railway track in the middle with a train and some coaches on it. Would be a cool place for some objectives! Our the teams have to capture the train and leave the Facility for all the goodies 😉 let’s name it “The last train from Jesserai”
Cheers
Hi guys, love the terrain, especially the magnets. I can see so many opportunities to tinker around with these sets using the magnets!
The expansion I would like to see added to the range is open vats/silos that are hollow, so could be used as empty vats (ideal for holding captives). The magnets could then allow a walkway around the top to view into the vat and a set of recessed magnets could allow surfaces to be put on the tank to make them appear full of chemicals etc.
I would use this set as a home territory for my necromunda gang and call it “The Pharmacy” as it looks like it could be used as an industrial chem factory, especially with the addition of some vats!
I’d like to see some chemical tanks, you could call it chem processing.
Perfect for Deadzone~
I would call mine table the iron hold and for add on I would like drilling platform or pumping station and more scatter
holy monkey that is a shed load of terrain and a scary project for anyone to undertake….. but my god is it beautiful.
I was thinking AvP as well. A few Weyland Yutani signs on this would look great
Awesome set, would love to see some heavy machinery (cranes, conveyors, crushers) that could effect/be used to damage player vehicles/heavily armoured attackers. I’d call it “Foundry of annihilation”
Looks like it might be good for Relic knights 2.0. Failing that Infinity
It would be great to see lots of magnetized scatter terrain added to the range. I would name my Industrial Sector “Silo Farm”. Great Video
Wow! This stuff looks amazing! I didn’t realised it all comes pre-coloured too! I love the enthusiasm of the 4Ground guys; they clearly love creating and playing with their products!
As far as expanding the range goes, some sort of crane for moving shipping crates would be awesome for creating a shipping area scenario. Maybe you could have an objective which involves capturing the crane controls and moving a shipping crate to a target area.
I’d simply name the the sector “Shipping Port”.
4Ground has truly outdone themselves this time! There are a divers selection of games that benefit here…
A forge, reactor, or smelter would be nice adds; as well as a crane or conveyors.
Much of what I see is akin to a refinery; however, production machinery and large conveyor systems, like in SW/Attack of the Clones would be awesome too.
I’m adding this to my needs list! And as far as what I’d name the set… maybe “The Interplanetary Deep Impact Refinery.”
Love the work on this. I would love to see an optional LED add-on, as well as some barb-wire fencing to wrap around some of the towers. This could work for so many games. Might even get it for the Star Wars game coming out … with a lava mat to recreate SW eps.3
Great work 4Ground!!!
Excellent set of terrain that can work for ultra modern, Infinity or Necromunda.
A “star warsy” heavy industrial terrain, like the lower levels of Coruscant would be splended.
I would like to see them tackle corridors and tunnels so you could have an underground mining complex (sci-fi dungeon crawler).
As for suggested names, how about “Slag town”!
I hope it’s not cheating to suggest 2 things – there are 7 pages so these may have been recommended before.
1) I think 4ground would lend itself to low cover, some sort of 12″x12″ terrain filled with cover, like a server farm – where there is only enough room for 1 model to move between, but many perpendicular paths – I feel that forcing objectives to this level with a bigger central piece would make high ground more interesting.
2) Security Checkpoints – some attachable gates/doors that can be sealed or opened, body scanners/decontaminators that could be 2-3″ long and fit over regular bridges, providing more cover, Guard Platforms attached to side of upper levels that can support 1 mini but allow better cover, Armour panels – for when the workers riot, attach to all structures and re-enforce the checkpoint.
I would name my sector – Neti’s Conduit – it is the outermost part of an industrial complex built on the crushed souls of the downtrodden.
love it – as for add on’s, what about a hoist/crane, Bubble tanks, porta cabins just for a start.
Name – ‘Outland’ industrial Sector’
Think If I won this I’d need a new flat, and as for the game I’d use if for, Armageddon out of here!
Don’t worry I’m getting my coat.
To expand this range I would like:
– Pre-drilled holes / mountings for LEDs so you could add your own lighting effects (you can imagine a warning amber light going off, maybe with a buzzer klaxon)
– Option to mount the terrain on legs – so that you could build an oil rig / included with this maybe even an industrial drill centerpiece.
– Docking bays/berths for vehicles (e.g. cargo trucks, waste trucks, barges etc etc.
– The ubiquitous helipad (great for inserting your forces or as an objective to escape.
– Reactor / Power furnace or generator – again can be used as an objective piece.
– A crane – like those seen on tower blocks / skyscrapers for lifting out cargo containers
Finally, my name for this amazing piece of kit would be:
‘Industrial Complex J4 – Justin’s Folly’
I hereby name my industrial sector Nugrunda — a disgusting waste treatment plant where many a deformed punker doth spend his wretched days.
On that note I’d love to see a sewage pipe added where I could paint in some escaping slime. Perhaps make it a hazard that causes a model to go prone or something.
Wonderful prize here! Hope I snag it!
I would use this as a Teseum refining area for my Ariadna. I would like to see some longer walkways – so you could set up up like a bridge.
I would love to see a small truck done up in the yellow as well. You could add some chain link fence to go around it.
“Dawn Refining Zone 1”
Some nice big red fuel tanks would be nice.
This looks amazing. I’d add some hab-blocks with sleeping, living and recreation quarters for the workers/crew.
My sector would be called “Brighter Days Prospekt”.
Wow! The antenna array is an amazing idea. Really like the scored lines on the panels and how they go together. I could see this going on the Christmas list for sure!!!!
I would call it Industrial Precinct
I would like to see things like gantries and cranes, like are used to move shipping containers and other cargo. Or steel foundry type terrain, with the huge smelting crucible “bucket” and big presses, rollers, and conveyor belts.
The Royal Megacorp owns several ports which they designate alphabetically. My port is the fourth one, officially, its called Port Royal D. But local dockworkers vandalized the O and A, so everyone just calls it Port Ryld as their commentary on the brutal work conditions.
Very cool, I hope they make a military base or compound next.
Man I would love something like this for a campaign like this 😀
http://www.beastsofwar.com/groups/painting/forum/topic/no-one-escapes-their-father/
great stuff!
I would like to see a bunch of containers with the same magnet system.
I would call the sector BOW-CORP
I would like to see a set with more degraded structures. Perhaps in a rust brown/yellow finish. I would name this the Acid Helfurnace.
Now that is an awesome multi-faceted set. Love how BOW gets the industry in studio to display their wares. Almost as good as handling it oneself.
I see an off-shore platform int he near future; Platform Echo 88
I could use this for so many different types of areas. Add a bit here and there and it would be even more epic.
So much stuff and so much detail. I would love to use this for Infinity or Necromunda. It would take me an age to build it all. It’s amazing how much stuff they can fit into a small footprint.
I would call me station Plasco Energy North, because of a plant that I had worked at. This kit does remind me of that plant.
Several small things that could be added are: jib boom cranes, transformer stations, fire fighting stations, control panels, hydrants, large fire extinguishers, giant spools of wire, scissor lift or storage sheds.
Several larger items that could be added are: watch tower, loading/unloading station of bulk items from trucks, giant fans, hoppers, giant furnaces, open storage tanks, Tesla coils or storage cages.
Would definitely play a lot of Necromunda on this.
What would I add? Maybe some more detailed floor tiles with multiple layers of MDF, probably for adding hazards like troughs of molten metal, or toxic waste.
What would I call it? Dirt Hole Dockyard, after our oldschool Necromunda zone, Dirt Hole.
Utterly awesome terrain set. I’d like to see large wide flatter fuel/chemical storage tanks. A loading bay/hangar would also be a great addition. As would a workshop with automated armatures and lifting cranes that run along overhead beams. 4Ground terrain just keeps getting better and better. A lot of intelligence and thought in the design.
Would like to see some detail panels, to mix things up if you buy multiples of each kit.
Would call mine, Refinery Beta-Five.
Amazing idea, incredibly well executed!
I’m thinking some actual peacekeeper checkpoint area might be a nice addition to it. Perhaps some smelting areas.
I’d name my industrial sector “The Foundry”
would be great to see some buildings that could connect the walkways. Something to fight over, move between levels with some security. Some labs, factory controls etc
I think Blips and Chitz Industries would be solid choice!!
As always amasing terrain we have come to expect and are never let down by. Awesome!
I would call mine “Sector 4G Industrial Zone – ‘Sludge Town'”
I would love to see some damaged, abandoned industrial terrain pieces that would fit more Necromunda setting, eaten by rust and dripping with toxic sludge. Plus some nasty stuff like grinders, chasms and toxic pools. I would name it “Hub prime” for the reference to necromundan Hive Primus.
That range is insane. The sear amoung of bits and pieces (and magnets) it’s plain absurd. As cool as expensive xD 4Grounds makes the best terrain as to date. It cost acordingly, but oh my gods it’s worth every penny. I’m thinking in starting a family to give them my first born for a bundle like that hahahahaha

As for who to expand the range, I think more gas pipes
Is a cool way to make the semi cover terrain and to expand horizontally the range.
For a more insane idea, I’d vote for a Furnace like the one from Terminator 2 or Star Wars Ep 2 (curious who second parts always have some industrial firey thinghy xD):
Imagine how cool the contrast between the main grey structure and the white red of the furnace. Then you just have to call it the “Vulcano’s Furnace Complex” kit xD
As for a name for my personal 4Grounds Jesserai industrial kit name, I think I’d got with something like “Manticore Industries Terminal Complex”. I like bombastics names xD
this is just such a cool looking set of scenery which I could have so meny uses for necromunda and infinity plus there’s konflikt 47.
I would like to see some sort of power station added plus some sort of crane for moving crates / mining minerals
I would suggest adding a water treatment plant, ammo Depot, fueling station, HQ, giant mining drill, armor for catwalks, medical center. Call it Heavy Industries.
The density of the setup really makes it pop. As for additions, water processing plant and docks would be my wish list. As for a name Jorvic sector, as hopefully nautical and industrious.
I think some kind of conveyer belt/ train track transportation system would be cool. Soldiers fighting on moving platform would be interesting to play. The scene in the prequel star wars film when c3po and r2d2 are in the droid factory on Genosis comes to mind. My name suggestion would be Lazarus Foundry.
That’s a table I want, for sure. Beautiful.
I’d like to see some kind of thematic add-ons, like asian parts, futuristic parts, arabian parts… so we can mix and create some flavour.
For now, this would be called “The devil’s bowels” in my mind. An industrial working place in the middle of a war-torn land.
Seriously cool terrain! So many possibilities.
I would name it. Scorpionica.
Expanding the set with the inside of a Foundry or Refinery set that allows fights from the outside to be carried on indoors within more confined spaces with some more slightly open rooms.
Call the set.
Internal Machinations.
EIll be great some processing power generator or foundry complex with melting containers or similar. My sector will be called Debris sector gamma.
I would expand it with industrial buildings, factories,…
Calling it Infernal Works.
Would love to see a warehouse, a loading area be it for trains or space ships or maglev, a sludge pit with lots of pipes coming out. a furnace a reactor. cooling towers or heat exchangers, oxygen generators, so much, I would call my area the sludge pit.
Nice terrain, useful for all sorts of games. Necromunda, 40k, Infinity etc. I’m thinking Oilrig for Walking Dead, all those zombies flying off the top deck onto the players below.
Rig o mortis………:)
Ohh yeah I would like to see some Cranes, maybe a few LED friendly consoles/light units (with printed plastic/Perspex fronts.
Brilliant set.
I would like to see added:
Shacks and hovels that attach to the pillars and undersides of the gantries
cranes
damaged versions of the pieces
more clutter, billboards, terminals, fuel dump, toxic pits etc.
I would call my sector: Gantry Town
This must be one of the most beautiful industrial set! It would be nice if you could expand the range with a perimeter fence and large gate, a security gatehouse, a storage facility of sorts (both large and small), silos, a power grid, office buildings, a loading zone for vehicles, and base tiles that taper from the concrete tiles into a gravel section (this would be great to create a smooth transition from gravel/grass into paved area). I would name the complex Astraeus Complex IV.
I think all this set would need would be things like conveyer belts with carrier/buckets on them or maybe transport vehicles to haul stuff. I’d call it the Asterion Industrial Complex after the minotaur 🙂
Could find lots of uses for this!
I think opstech industries sector4 would be a cool name, i love the look of this set, this will make someone very happy this Christmas, i would love one for our club. I would love to see fences a gatehouse and power generators ( big ones!!!)
Love the magnet options you can make.
I would call it: the Underspire Goliath section.
or Negan’s headquarters for the Walking dead
I would love to see a sewage treatment/Water treatment/chemicals plant. I would call my industrial sector Despair.
I’d like to get expansions that allows the set to join with existing scenery systems (Necromunda, Mantic Battlezones, etc)
Name would be 4GZ
You could spend hours and hours just playing with this and trying different latouts.
I’d like an expansion of steampunky gears and stuff. I’d name it Zone Comoran
So for new ideas, I would say y’all should make some boiler, chemical vats, and cranes. For the name of the industrial plant I would call it Kaldor Industrial industries.
I’d like add-ons for including led and magnets. I’d name it Bathory Sector.
Wow pretty impressed the modular nature makes it so versatile. Could do with a power station . After that mineral processing and ore processing with a large blast furnace or similar would be for awesome canter piece.
That set needs vehicles. Whether construction, mining, terraforming, or general industry (i.e. processing, manufacturing, etc.), you’d see a lot of vehicles thereabouts. Though, I guess you could just go with the GW stuff. A few Genestealer Cult Goliaths and a couple sets of the Galvanic Servohaulers who look about right. I’m not even sure you could make MDF vehicles that didn’t look flat and boxy. (Though, if anyone could pull it off, I’m betting it’s the folks at 4Ground.)
Actually, what I’d really love to see is a sci-fi train or subway kit. There are no shortage of trains for old west wargames, but I don’t think I’ve ever really seen someone do a futuristic sci-fi version. Train, tracks, checkpoints and station with all the appropriate bits and bobs (turnstiles, ticket booths, benches and trash bins, signage and lights). I love the idea of filling a 4×8 table (or, better still, two 4×8 tables pushed together) with a massive train/subway system connecting the various areas and having an epic battle that moves across the entire sector – from the Ares Weapons Lab to the Hephaestus Foundry to the grimy Hades Underhive (with its infamous Aphrodite red light district which resembles but is legally distinct from Total Recall’s Venusville) to the Poseidon Pumping Station to the Zeus Power Plant – inside and on top of a screaming sci-fi bullet train.
If I have to I’ll throw away my couch to make room for the tables, but somebody make that happen!
Expansion: religious themed pieces for my Sisters. Name: The Sanctorum Sector.
I’d like to see some sort of factory setting, a large shopfloor littered with lots of futuristic machines, overhead cranes and walkways. Basically some major corporations in this steel and concrete world run these massive production facilities, churning out their goods.
I’d call it “Corporation Alley”
That is some seriously cool looking terrain. I would add some cranes and external lifts (elevators) Reminds me of something you could find out at sea so I would call it Rigmarole.
My name for the zone is Zone Jacobius. I’d like to see more kinds of ladders.
This would look amazing for an Infinity table. Perhaps it’s a smelter where Tesseum is smelted or refined or perhaps a factory where a prototype of something is being put together. All in all amazing terrain.
Really like this new terrain, I can imagine a lot of games playing on that.
To expand it I would look at something like a fractional tower (nice snipers nest if you can get there) and I would call it the Noctis plant
This would make a great addition to Deadzone game-play, along with many other modern to sci-fi skirmish games (Warzone, Infinity, Shadow Wars: Armageddon, Necromunda, MERCs, Alien vs Predator, Terminator Genesys, the list goes on).
I can also envision the terrain being used in:
– WWII (Axis/Allied factories and industries in Bolt Action, Konflikt ’47, Dust Tactics/Warfare, etc)
– Steampunk (In Her Majesty’s Name (Osprey), Wild West Exodus laboratories and industrial warehouse environs, Wolsung, Twisted)
– Western (Dead Man’s Hand farm grain silos and feed distribution centres)
– Fantasy (Kings of War dwarf/abyssal dwarf factories, orc strongholds, WH:AoS Skirmish)
– Horror (The Walking Dead, Project Z, etc)
– Underwater skirmish games – lost civilisations and sunken terrain.
The use of square magnets is ingenious, especially with the manipulation of the axis of their poles.
Well done, 4Ground!
This is great looking Terrain! I have been thinning down the games I collect and play. My top 3 systems now are Shadow War: Armageddon, Infiniy and Necromunda. This set fits perfect with all three. This setting would look great with my weird World War Dust models too. The table option are pretty cool too, from a desert refinery, sea stationed fuel depot to a dark and dank industrial sector.
The name for me would be
Hadleys Hope
(bought to you by Weyland-Yutanti Corp, “Building Better Worlds in a Grim Dark Future”.
Would like to see some chemical vats and mine shaft entrances.
Can you guys do a terrain version of “Lets Play” with the set?
PS Santa could you please ignore all my previous emails about presents and get me one of these sets.
Why does 4Ground want all of my money?
I’d like to see the range expand with a military base, air force base. I’d name my industrial “Pakful Industrial Park”.
I would love to see some sort of cranes and cargo trucks/ or a railway system, with detachable (magnetized) containers, and i would name my sector “Processing Center Delta” commonly refered to just as “the PCD”
Nice set. I’d like to see military add-ons to the set. I would name it Zone Who.
I’d love it if it could be expanded to work with the Necromunda scenery. And I’d name it the Underzone.
Refinery Whiskey Tango
It needs a tram to bring workers to the site.
This really looks amazing The only expansion i could think of right now, are little things, that would show, that there are actually people working, a foreman office, a checkpoint, maybe some lockers, and security measures like sci-fi versions of fire extinguishers and emergency showers, or some warning signs, radioactiv, toxic, wet floor 😉 for example.
Finding names is not my strongest point maybe Sector Industrial Progress.
This is amazing, clearly perfect for Necromunda Gang Wars. But this would definitely fit my Trysst Dynasty genestealer cults army. I would a add a machinery/vehicle repair bay/yard to fix all my Goliath trucks. I would also add a landing pad for all those visits by the administration to ensure ore quotas are on schedule. I would call this Trysst Ore Refinary Beta 1027.
I would name it „Zona Industriale Giovanni Schiaparelli“ 🙂
Add a Lava Flow/burst acid pipe like from Macgyver, and I would name mine “Plasma Field Collision!”
I would name it Skaldor Sector. I would like to see it expand into insides of spaceships.
Expand: add-ons to build around Pringles tubes and fiood cans. Name: Anistone Sector
If its an ore processing plant you could name it hephaestus station
Magnets on the terrain will make it so much easier.
I’d name it Agnus Dei 🙂 And I’d love to see additions to make it more useful for modelling Eldar Craftworlds
It looks amazing and I love the idea of magnets to hold it in place while you are gaming.
Wow this set is amazing, the magnets makes so much difference, super versatile.
I would like to see a few more offices or rooms that can link in both high and low levels. I would also like to see some form of costruction crane which can possibly hoist platforms. Some industrial pipelines that are modular can give some low ground “cover” as well. What about low concrete walls.
If this was my set I would call it “The Steal-dale megalith”
I’d like to see landing pads for small flyers. I’d name this Barania Sector..
I’d call it Corvega and hope to see some production line bits and pieces start to appear.
Because I’m looking at this and Fallout Wasteland Warfare just a few months away!
A big Factory Building would be nice with possible walkways outside of it.
I would name this set: “Forge Kalry”
The name would be Blocktown. And I’d probably like to see more open spaces.
I’d go with Barlyzon Sector. And I would need a drawbridge.
I think it should expand into a road/rail product transfer area. Raw materials coming in and processed material going out.
This would be great for Necromunda. I think that a great expansion to the pack would be an off-world launch platform with a spaceship or a rocket that might take off as an objective you need to stop! I would call it something like “Off-Planet Express Terminal 4”
Reminds me on the old as_oilrig map from counter-strike^^
Read somewhere in the comments that this set miss some heavy industrial machinery, definitly co-sign! Should be big drillers, moulders or a small depot and maybe groundplates with holes in circle or square shape would be a nice add-on!
I would call it the Big Rig.
I would put on some LED lights that you can put on with a magnet.
I would like to see a sub terrain board, like a subway or underground passages with a few large spaces.
This is definitely on my to buy list now. Not only are the official components great, but from the modularisation scheme being used it looks like it shouldn’t be too hard for to make compatible components for those of us who want to stretch our creative endeavours in such a direction.
As expansions, I would like to see either alternate tiles or tile toppers that give things like service roads, chemical rivers, etc.
No idea what I’d call it though. I don’t see my terrain layouts as being the same place each time (hence why they’re laid out differently from battle to battle).
As I was looking through this, I was surprised to not see an open vat of toxic waste. Could you do one of those large cylinders but instead of having a top, put down a neon green toxic waste material? Being able to create rules around that would be so much fun.
How about a truck/tank service section, were a truck or a tanker could pick up or drop of chemicals. Silty elevated and some barriers. And I wold call my set the Northam Damaris refinery.
This stuff look so cool.
I would love to see them expand the range with landing pads, hangars, and spacecraft maintenance facilities. I’d call it “Hangar 18”.
To expand this set I’d like some fairly boring sounding options: workers’ habitation cells / blocks and/or a greasy spoon cafe. Accommodation units could be like modular pods large enough for little more than sleeping, but racked up together they’d provide some good, solid line-of-sight blocking terrain. The cafe would just be really cool!
A more ambitious expansion would be a crane or even a range of pieces to make it look like it was dockside. A few small additions could transform the look and feel of the whole range and give you a completely different battlefield to fight over.
This is special. Hope the guys at 4ground keep up the good work!
