Daruma Productions talked with Justin about what's coming for SLA Industries. They also have some wicked goodies to give away from them including their RPG Rulebook + An Exclusive Miniature.

This is actually one of the last five ever made on the tabletop! You'll want to find out more about these amazing miniatures and their dark and brooding game.

That’s a great prize

dragonrelic

Wow those look awesome!

tchrin

Never heard of SLA Industries, the 90s was all about D&D and Vampire:The Masquerade for me but I do love their minis! Clearly they’re for an RPG game, but curious how this works and if it’s playable as a skirmish game.

zombieking

Yep, the RPG was originally out in the 90s. But their skirmish game is new and currently in beta test: it’s called ‘Cannibal Sector One’

madgolem

I never played SLA Industries, but it looks really interesting and the minis are awesome.

inu53

Super limited edition, neat! Yet another range on my want list. Time, I need more time! 🙂

dane001

bigbadbazz

I need to look into this

aea007

Like some of the others here not something I remember from the 90’s

jpcarrico

Looks really really good!

laughingboy

So many good things

tchatchet

back in the 90s my friends would wax lyrical about SLA but I never got a chance to play I am glad to see I have not missed my chance.

nukemechanic

I still have a very well worn copy of the original SLA Industries. The theme of the game still appeals to me. Frothers were so much fun to play. I missed the Kickstarter, and wished I had picked up the McNoltie mini.

duster

Neat prize! Minis look great!

somegeezer

I’d love a closer look at that vehicle.

zombieking

This is a originally a vehicle for Devil’s Run, but it also fits the aesthetic and scale of the SLA minis so is currently usable as a objective marker in the game.

RPG geek here. Not allowed to have TV so we played games.. We played S.L.A. very infrequently but nothing could overtake D&D during the 80s and 90s and my brother and I were also heavily invested in time with BattleTech and Car Wars. That said, love the miniatures and may look at them to use for RPG games.

Copy of the RPG is a great prize. I hope it takes off with the other RPGs that are starting to get popular as well.

eric522

Interesting looking game.

mythago

Have always meant to have a closer look at SLA industries

carabus

I have never hear of SLA I find this very interesting.

ahren78

Never played SLA. Those minis look great.

phineusphule

These minis would be great for any number of Post Apocalyptic games. They also have a fantastic mascot/ spokes “model” with Halloween Jack. Love that t-shirt in the background

overlandgames

those miniatures look rad

tmon

Digger is an outstanding miniature!!

phoen31

huh, i’ve never heard of this game. Maybe its a UK thing?

hackareatech

I have never heard of SLA. Thank you for the chance to learn more about it.

tankkommander

SLA was a great setting saddled to a terrible combat resolution system. I hope they can fix it with a 2nd edition. I’m not a fan of the change in Wraith Raiders (feline) to Wraithen (lizard) and some of the other aesthetic ‘updates’ but I can work around that.

badgobo

mr chainsaw is cool looking

spaderfish

Here we are on the third and final day. It’s been a long weekend but for anyone who attended apparently a fun one. However, since it is the final day then it’s my last chance to shamelessly post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve ever played.

marktarver

Looked good, never got chance to stop and take a closer look.

morreion

Very nice different factions

dodgyfarmer

SLA industries keeps popping up. I keep thinking it is a 3D printing materials company. I hope BoW does some Weekender coverage of it soon.

chargerse67

Awesome mini!

zombieking

So happy to see you caught up with the Daruma guys. This new SLA skirmish game is absolutely ace, and really needs more coverage so we can grow a player base.

zombieking

If anyone is interested in checking out the SLA skirmish game – head over to the fbk group:
