With each faction reviewed, the choice becomes less clear, they are all so cool and have such great models.
I have a soft spot for the French. After all… If not for a French Pirate, America might not exist.
The old enemy…. classic French vs. English match up on the high seas would be amazing.

These guys look pretty good but with heroes like Henry Morgan I can’t help but go English.
An interesting mix, although if picking two forces to start I’d definitely go for the Spanish plus one… I doubt whether that one will be the French at the moment.Need to compare with the other three.
I’m not sure which faction I’d go with but having seen this setup in orlando Florida earlier this year I can say that it is one of the more impressive skirmish games I’ve seen in quite some time!

I headed into this video thinking, the french aren’t for me, but they do look like a great faction choice. Looking forward to learning more about other factions

They look good, but I’ve gone for the English and Spanish factions so far.
I am going to set up a table at my FLGS, buy a fake parrot and talk like a pirate all day. Either way people will notice it!
This looks like a solid game and always shows well at conventions.

I like the French militia having the plug bayonets. Curious as to where they rank against the other factions for average cost in points per figure.
Just played a demo at Origins. Loved it. I picked up the Unalighned and a small ship.

I was worried initially that the factions wouldn’t have enough diversity since it’s historically based, but it looks like they have managed to throw in some nuance to each of the factions thus far.
Frogs look good.
Watching thus far has made me want to research the period more and have been finding books on Amazon as I watch.

I absolutely love B&P. Three of us in my local club picked up stuff during the first kickstarter. Amazing miniatures. Awesome rules. I have backed this KS also.

I like them but I want to see the British yet.
After seeing these I’m liking the French more and more
Strong shooty force with suicidal grenadiers. Looks like a lot of fun. Viva la guerre!
Second army pick, some filibusteros or bucaneros to face Spanish troops on open sea or Tortuga, commanded by Jean David Nau, François l’Olonnais.
The French for me, as their over the top look would be good to paint.

As others have said the game looks fun, easy to pick up and characterful. I have now backed the new kickstarter but struggling to find stockists in the UK with any stock…

I play Spanish myself, but I have to admit Francois l’Olonnais is probably my favorite sculpt in the game. Such a beautiful depiction of a pure butcher.
The French must have the most awesome wig makers.
Not my favourite faction except some great looking miniatures… but all the B&P minis look great!

Some nice looking mini`s so far, in both the Spanish and French factions. Going to have to re-watch the battle report again, just to remind myself of how each faction works.
If nothing else the models for these French units are awesome.
These look really fun to play and dragging in Indians of British Freebooters sounds great.

It’s the bleeding french.
Got to love the militias with the bayonet smack in the barrel of their guns. It could be a very fun faction to play fire and maneuver.
