A lot of folks who would normally be hobbying are instead looking to do some gaming this weekend which is nice to see. Folks are enjoying putting together their warband and having a bash - even some people who wouldn't normally have had a go at tabletop gaming.
Fabled Realms also allows you to build your own models and stat them up which is neat, and some of the gamers have been doing just that, working with the beta rules to create their own warbands.
Others, like Tim, have been working on some nice incidental pieces of terrain like this ballista.
Do you think Fabled Realms is a system that could get people into tabletop skirmish gaming?

I think its a challenge to avoud trying out a minis game when presented with utterly stunning tables and minis 🙂 The immersion factor is a big factor in my miniature gaming experience at least.
Is that bolt thrower just terrain, or is it being used in game?
This looks so nice! I wish I was there and playing with you guys! 🙂 I really think Fabled Realms will get alot of people into the hobby and gaming and not just because they have such amazing miniatures but the world and rules seam really intresting!
I would be willing to play a few games. I think there should be some quick play rules to get people into the game, and custom dice would help. It is hard to ignore the awesomeness of the minis and terrain. It is just getting stuck into a lot of rules for a skirmish game.
Looks like a great time is being had by all. Thats an awrsome little terrain piece too! Great little objective marker or maybe weapon to take on the terror!
