good looking minis
Guild Ball is one of those games that I keep seeing over and over but I’ve not yet taken the plunge. It seems to be really well received though!
I agree, being an ex Blood Bowl Player I felt this is something I want to try, although the two games are quite different beasts.

I picked up a great Deal in the Steamforged sale – Kick Off, Blacksmiths and Farmers for £70 and free shipping, one of the best value deals I’ve seen. I’ll be recording a bunch of videos for Guild Ball soon so those exiles would make a great addition. Will be planning some Dark Souls card game vids as well but haven’t picked it up yet.
Guildball is something that keeps catching my eye but havent taken the plunge yet but I really should!
rules and cards are all free online… new teams in PVC plastic are great deals, and the Kick Off Boxed Set is super affordable and gives you literally everything you need to play in one stop shopping…
I am so tempted to late pledge for Godtear kickstarter but then Fat Tony will probably break my elbows back if I don’t pay him my monthly gaming crack debt on time…

Just went onto Steamforged website to check out the Exile minis. The are beautiful.
Love what Steamforged are doing. Makes me feel bad for neglecting Guildball this year. Top game and I’m looking forward to seeing GodTear… Still don’t like the name XD
I love the Godtear board, really nicely done with the hexes and terrain like that.
Guild Ball is fun but as a newbie I find the seasons and different versions of players a bit confusing. They could do a bit of a better job on their website of explaining all this stuff.
I agree it is all a bit daunting, as I understand it is essentially each new season does the following,
Buff/nurf player stats
Add new teams
Transfer players between teams
Move the stuff in the fluff onwards
Godtear is looking pretty
Guild ball always seems like my thing but I never took the plunge. The change to plastic might push me over the edge though.
I’d be interested in trying Guildball and seeing how it compares to and contrasts with Dreadball
I just need that push into Guildball, this may do it.
I’m loving the GodTear alpha (& now beta?) playtesting… and of course, Guild Ball is one of my favorites… didn’t do to well at my last tournament, but maybe that’s because I wasn’t fielding any Exiles… wink… wink…
I’m curious what the next minor guilds Will be after the falconeer.
I still think it`s a great alternative to good ol Blood Bowl, and luckily I am a member of a club where this is frequently played, not simple in Belgium

Guildball looks like a fun game. I also really like the orc models in godtear. They look awesome instead of like cartoons.

Despite backing Godtear still not sure on the gameplay, however, really enjoy guildball – both the miniatures and the gameplay

I of course love steamforged games after seeing all your coverage in the past. Guild ball is definitely a big favorite of mine I just dont get enough games. Im following godtear closely, i love the sculpts.

i love steamforged products, been wanting to try guildball but i think they need to simplify it a but, less tokens, quick play ( minis and dice )
Steamforged makes such great products. Ask about the Darksoul board game expansions.

Really nice minis, and I am happy that I have just finished my pre-ordering of Godtear. Love the whole design process of the Exiles and the fact that they were community decided on which faction they would be playing for.
Really must blow the dust off my Kick Off starter and get my painted but unused Fishermen onto the table!
Guild Ball is a great game, it gets a lot of plays with my gaming group.

Question for Justin: Don’t those painted Godtear figures look like they’re wielding hurleys? Now there’s a fantasy game waiting to be brought to life! LOL
I really hope they’ve done something about the nex or base size. If you try and put 3 minions in the same hex its not going to work and you’re going to get chipped paint jobs.

Have to say that I dropped by the steamforged stand on Saturday and I was a little disappointed in the stand. None of the new stuff coming was on display.

i am eager to get into guild ball for a really long time, I really love the minis
I still have to flesh out my metal teams before they go. Just shows that companies change production methods faster than I manage to paint a few miniatures.
I love the look of the football minis – I reAlly wish they would branch out into rpg figures.
GB is one of those games where I would be happy to buy a box just to use them in other games. So much detail and rarely anything on them that ties them to being from a ‘sports’ game.
Guild ball is great, very different from Bloodbowl less punishing randomness and a lot more tactical, I would recommend this game to everyone if you’re still on the fence. The exiles look great.

I’m not going to lie, I’d love to win the Exiles set – some of my favourite miniatures in a great line up. Guildball plays so well, one of my favourite games.

I still have a bunch of Guild Ball stuff in the painting queue, so I haven’t played the game much. The games I have watched have all been a blast, and I love the snippets of fluff in the rulebooks. Loving the look of those Exiles!

Guildball is such a dynamic game. I have become addicted to it. I have still to decide on which team I want to play, which is why I have been painting so many up 🙂

Really liking the new guild models, I’ve got the church box under the paint brush ATM, grace and benny are stunning models. With the delay of the falconers coming out the exiles might need to be got.

The Dark Souls board game introduced me to Steamforged, and I’ve gained a lot of respect for these guys about all their different products. Definitely my kind of games! Critical Role minis was the cherry on top of the cake
