I like these kickstarters that look at getting terrain on the table. I love making terrain, but having the time to gather resources and make what I want is a never ending battle! Battle Systems really do make nice terrain for a reasonable price.
I have been looking at the Battlesystems stuff for my Fallout table, but went with a different idea. I might still at a later point build that table as well.

I think a lot is be re-released because much of it is included in Core Space

Man every time Battle Systems has had a project up I’ve been unemployed and self-banned from Kickstarter, it is just the worst timing, and feels even worse every time I see their cool stuff
I was so tempted by Core Space but just do not have the time for a new game. I still break out the Sci Fi 1 terrain and it has held up well
I really like their terrain. Can’t wait to see the buildings.
Generally not a fan of flatpack terrain, but I will admit BS looks like they make very high quality stuff. If I won, I think I’d probably donate the prize to my local club; it’s the only place I game anyway, and terrain storage is always an issue when the club considers buying new terrain so this would allow for the club to add something new to its collection without taking up too much space in the terrain cupboard. Plus it’d look good next time we do a Mordheim campaign. 😉

It all looks so good and complete. A close look at the website made my jaws drop. The zombicalypse set is one for eternity. Everything´s like it is supposed to be.

Battle Systems sci fi terrain’s been on my shopping list for a long time. The villages are sure to be great too. I expect wells and out-houses along with a full interior tavern or two.

I’ve already got some of their terrain (and the Core Space videos on BoW had me late pledging on the Core Space set……of which I was blissfully unaware (curse you BoW and the Lets Play videos for MAKING me spend money). At first I was a bit worried about the longevity of the terrain, but if you go over to the Battle Systems YouTube channel they have some really good videos with tips on construction. But most importantly there’s a tip for using superglue (with a brush applicator bottle) to “paint” the corners of the card that seals/bonds the edges to a point where they act like a plastic sheet (so no curling/splitting). Works a treat (and doesn’t take long to do). I do think you do need to paint the card edges to make the terrain shine, but its still A LOT easier than trying to paint up a whole terrain system from scratch. Take a look at the Core Space late backer pages, Battle Systems were really generous in keeping the stretch goals open for late backers (usually companies don’t let you have a free goodies and the late pledges are just a pre order system). And look at the lets play videos here on BoW, Core Space looks like a really good game (rather than a lot of KS games that have horrible game mechanics devised to just push the mini sales). VERY impatient to see Core Space arrive on my doorstep, and to get gaming.
I remember when I first heard of this line Battle Systems and somebody was reviving the old TSR Battle Systems rule set but then I got a look at the product and WOW! Incredible terrain pieces and great system to assemble it. Keep up the great work, guys!

I have the first sci first terrain set from these guys. It is hard to believe that card scenery could look so good and be so robust. It is also very versatile.

I stopped into the booth on Friday to see how Core Space was coming along. Got to play a bit with one of the demonstrators. It was excellent. Colin came over wondering why nothing had died yet. Answer was that neither I nor the purge could roll for toffee! Really excited for the Kickstarter delivery now. The exploration type game, various NPCs and the awesome Battle Systems terrain make for a really immersive experience!
I like the terrain set they did for the Fallout Miniatures Game.

Got to play core space over the weekend and it was awesome, I loved especially how the world in the game continued around you as you played. We had an epic moment where a robot game smashing through a bar window and it was actually the barmen that took him out whilst my characters were actually the other side of the board. I can’t wait to get my copy.

Glad to hear the KS is on track – I’m really looking forward to seeing how the full campaign system will work, and how easily you can slot in more missions to get a full sci-fi TV show experience.
I saw this on Saturday (my game club had a daytrip) and I really liked the mini’s. It was a bit too busy tho to ask them if they sold them separately.

I’m a backer of corespace and was looking forward to getting it before, but seeing the battle systems terrain in person for the first time blew me away. Any remaining doubts I had before about cardboard terrain are totally gone. It’s REALLY nice.
Core space looks like a fun game. I am excited they are going to do more fantasy stuff, for the buildings and outdoor scenes to go with the dungeon terrain.

Managed to buy myself the dungeon terrain set. Having missed out on the kickstarter i’ve been wanting it for ages. I got nearly £70 worth of freebies as well to sweeten the deal. So chuffed.
