Good afternoon, everyone.
Okay, we are a-a-a-almost done with this LRDG/early SAS force for the 28mm Bolt Action Boot Camp. A little dry brushing, some last-round details (insignia, wristwatch bands, etc.) are just about all that’s left. A little foliage and desert scrub on the bases, as well.

Bwahahaha … Thanks, @damon . I actually liked the infantry. Might seriously look into some moderns for 28mm. As for the vehicles, well, it’s only been the one try and I’m sure I just don’t have the hang of this scale yet. That, and I always find lighter colors more difficult (desert / arctic schemes). Darker browns and greens are more forgiving.
Down the line, when you have some more time if you are interested in doing some more 28mm vehicles, try looking at armour scale modelling websites/YouTube, a lot of those skills are directly transferable, also, John has done several good painting vlogs/tutorials that are worth the time.
Awesome, @damon . Thanks! I BELIEVE we’re getting a vehicle in the army kits … but please don’t quote me on that. SO I’ll be doing at least a few more 28mm vehicles in any event.
