Happy Sunday Brothers and Sisters of CoG!
Attention!!! This show is for OUR EYES ONLY.

***** It’s the XLBS Show *****

Grab your favorite drink, something to snack on, and hold on to your FEZ. This could be quite the show!
OTT asked…. How have you been enjoying the codes in the CoG newsletters? R pmld gsv olxzgrlm lu gsv gvnkov zmw gsv vmw lu Hgzi Dzih Wvhgrmb rh hzw rmwvvw.
As to the question of the day…..What have you been working on?
……………………………………………………….
Well, I’ve been working on more Flames of War minis. I’ve also been 3D printing landing craft like a ‘Mad Man’! I really need to update my Project were I’m sharing my results with the LCVP’s and other watercraft. I promise I’ll get it updated.
I’ve also been watching the older ‘FOW FTW’ episodes and came across this little gem that I thought I’d share with everyone, in case you might have forgotten it……..

*****Also, on a serious note…..today as I was leaving the local coffee shop I proceed through an intersection after having waited for it to turn green. I waited a full second after the light turned green and then drove across like I have for what is probably 10’s of thousands of times previously……when out of no where comes a flash of a great white rushing blur and I think to myself, “What the hell is that” and then braced for impact…………
Luckily, I did not let up on the accelerator and kept driving forward, not trying to do anything other than get through the intersection. As I braced I heard and felt a light thud and the only change of movement was to possibly be forced forward slightly faster than normal. I was extremely lucky! You see I drive a tiny little convertible two-seat car, (British racing green of course), and any impact other than what I experienced would have altered my day or possibly my life.
I cruised forward to a parking lot, parked the car and got out to check for damage and of course to see if I needed a change of shorts! The car has no sign of damage and my shorts were still intact so all is well……
Today has been a time for reflection and some quiet time. I put the entertainment system on the Beasts of War youtube channel and let my friends, Warren @warzan and Dr. Dave @lafayette ramble about gaming and help me to stay chill and relaxed with gaming goodness.
I’m glad to be able to spend another Sunday XLBS with all my COG friends! Thanks for reading and thanks to the OTT crew for being here when I really needed them to fall back on for a secure sense of ‘the world is ok, and so am I’.
stay safe out there son
What was the white blur? Here in Canada we’ve had a few young officers getting a bit to excited driving their cruisers!
A fairly new White SUV. Driven by an older lady who had her granddaughter in the vehicle with her. She was running red lights and stop signs trying to get to a damn cattle show at our local fair grounds, where her other granddaughter was showing some livestock.
After I had parked and gotten out of my car so I could check it, she did show up after ten to fifteen minutes.
After I heard her story and assured her that I and my car were ok, I’m pretty sure I switched into dad mode and lectured her about how a cattle show is not important enough to risk lives, mine and her younger granddaughter who was in the car with her let alone her own, so SLOW THE HECK DOWN!
Happy Sunday!
A few minutes of show then off to bed to dream of Merkava’s ahead of the monthly Team Yankee game.
So has everything for @warzan lately been about de-crypt-ion?
So Justin is saying there should be an app-arition in the dungeon?
Happy Sunday!
Skulls have always been cool, as long as they’re used appropriately; in others words not in a GW lazy aesthetic way 😉
Doesn’t a 4, (6) or 8 sided pyramid have at least one more hidden side (the bottom)?
Is Gerry’s sudden love of Greeks anything to do with the rumoured Saga:Age of Hannibal release?
I this case Clash of Spears is what’s encouraging me
That’s an hour or so of my life I’m never getting back.
@avernos stole my Knights of the Old Republic Puzzles, check them out there are tonnes of them.
A great one for kids would be the Skyrim Tomb puzzles with the claws. Basically you have three symbols one of top of the other and you have a claw which has the same three symbols on it. You just have to match the same symbols in the same order but for kids it might take them a few minutes to figure out. Just don’t tell them that’s what they have to do.

For Crypts check out the Hallstatt Bone House where they paint the skulls or the actual Chapel made out of Skulls in Poland.
Congrats to all the Golden Button Winners.
The strips are called Pteruges which means feathers.
Morning all
I was having a stab at Caesar’s cartoon then realised that non-admins can’t post pictures into comments. Should have done this at the time but I’ve now created a forum post if anyone else fancies a go!
https://www.beastsofwar.com/forums/topic/in-sync-caption-contest/#post-1441794
Oh great start…. “look the OTTer W-Ankher” XD
Yeah, the Chinese really do NOT **** about when it comes to their monumental architecture…
Happy Sunday guys
Woohoo thank you very much for the Golden button nomination, sadly I have been on exercise for three weeks which is why I haven’t been able to add more but back now so will get stuck in this week and continue to prepare for the upcoming campaign.
With the help of @avernos I have managed to settle on two lists. One for Fortress Europe and one for D-Day. It has been a really nice project to be part of due to our great community and I hope we see other companies take on something similar so we get another opportunity to take part in another Hobby League.
@warzan designing puzzles for your children in D & D is something best done by you and Andrea. As you know your children best you can tailor the puzzles to their knowledge and build in layers of clues to help them get the answer if needed.
Hope everyone has a great week.
Apart from the Wargames Atlantic skelebobs, I don’t have any ancient Greeks. Must say Gerry’s are lovely and tempting me to go Greek… I might even buy a box of hoplites as well 🙂
Happy Sunday fellow CoGers.
That cork moment 🙂 reminded me of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eJ0iGZ7Ms8
@warzan here is a search on DnD Beyond that will help give you some ideas, ghosts etc. are classed as undead.
https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters?filter-type=16&filter-search=&filter-cr-min=&filter-cr-max=&filter-armor-class-min=&filter-armor-class-max=&filter-average-hp-min=&filter-average-hp-max=&filter-is-legendary=&filter-has-lair=&sort=name

Justin’s idea of a janitor elemental isn’t that bad. It could be a automaton or the spirit of a loyal servant. Rather than providing another combat encounter it adds another point of interest to the dungeon. Perhaps if there is a puzzle that requires physical manipulation of the dungeon it is the janitor that resets the puzzle if the party get it wrong.
Ghosts can still be a threat even if they are unable to physically do anything. They could still be able to use magic, or they could be able to instil strong emotions such as horror, sorrow, or hopelessness. They are also another way of adding in a puzzle – the classic let the ghost achieve final rest plot.
My kids are three and seven and the eldest has been encountering peer pressure for a couple of years now for various things. She has expressed interest in logging in to Minecraft to meet friends once or twice but so far we can evade it by saying her kid’s tablet can’t do that. In general I have noticed that all the fads at school last no longer than a few months so it doesn’t matter if they miss out on it. At the end of the day most of their interactions with their peers are still running around in the playground. What struck me about the switch party story is that I don’t think a parent should be running parties where they know some of their kid’s friends are excluded.
I know I’d be worried if Hong Kong Phooey was a janitor in a dungeon
I thought the same thing @torros
skulls are all ways cool. love them to death. GW does skulls well just look at their “beastgrave” hexagonal bits
Happy Sunday to all.
I’ll be watching after the rugby has finished.
A skull on a Space Marine or Imperial was just a devotion to the Emperor – more skulls just meant you loved the chief zombie a bit more. Makes you wonder about Captain Khorneflakes loyalty, though.
@warzan I know exactly what you mean with the kids and their gadgets, it’s a tricky one for sure trying to do the best by them. I’ve got 2 boys who are 11 and 6 (? still can’t believe they are that old!) and it’s been one of the more frustrating things about parenthood for me is the realisation that no matter what we do for our kids to teach them ‘good’ behaviours in lifestyles it all goes to shit when they go to school because in a class of 30 all it takes is one kid to undo all that work ? I exaggerate of course but we cannot escape the influence of other parents who do things differently, to make a point not always wrong…just differently.
Without going too deep here, it’s not that weekender ?, through a lot of the experiences I’ve had in life there is one thing that always seems relevant and that is balance. You can apply it to so many aspects of life but in this regard I use to help my boys get a good experience with these gadgets. We actually have gadget days in our house, so there are some days that they can play these games as much as they want and others where they don’t go on it at all. There are a lot of positives with kids playing these games, problem solving and communication skills in multiplayer games and also when they grown the will be online whether we like it or not as that is the way the whole world is. As long as we have a balance in our house where they get outside and get covered in mud, climb hills and chase pigeons as much as they play these games we’re happy and they’re happy too.
It’s also worth pointing out that on out gadget days that its not what they want to do all day, even the 6 year old is happy to have a break and build some Lego or go out find slugs and snails, it’s almost like giving them the freedom to do it all day takes away the void that is left by not having it all.
I would absolutely recommend the Marvel Lego games as they are a great mix of problem solving and working together.
Got to say seeing all the great stuff you do with designing these games for your kids is fantastic and a real inspiration, I feel like I should be doing so much more with my boys as they love looking at all the painting I do I’m sure they’d love to see it come to life. Great job man!
I got same experience with my offspring.
I have no idea how to use tv and change channels with remotes because I was so back up with technology, i type 30 symbols a second – does not help in my work.
we have laptop , pc, google home mostly to play music but she knows where to look for answers if she needs to, and projector for watching movies that we use once a week if not less.
I own a switch myself and find it strang that your kids weren’t invited for a switch party because they don’t have a switch. With a switch you can also play with mutiple players a game(not all Games have mutiple player option) on a TV. So I would say the parents of those kids are wrong to let their kids not invite another kid just because the kid hasn’t a switch. I started with the atari skip the NES and SNES era and started playing again on a playstation. I had to make choices about were the spent my money when I was younger but I still did buy modelkits. Now that I’m older(50) I love to build and buy modelkits and play certain videogames.
@warzan I can understand your view about videogames but you must also think about when your children get a little bit older and go play with friends at their house then they might come in contact whit the world of videogames and then you don’t have control of what the play. They might even not play at your house anymore because they find the “forbidden” games more thrilling. I think when you would introduce your children to videogames they have already have choices that most other children don’t have playing with their father D and D, boardgames, building and painting minatures or videogames
my partner just said maybe try dungeon masters guild for the dungeon puzzles and books done by 3rd parties for it too
*green goblin press
*kobald press
*drive through rpg might have them under maps and “aids”
hope this may help
Happy Sunday all you lovely backstagers. Nearly the end of Septemebr already??? bloody hell – near time for Orktober!!!!
Great episode again guys.
@warzan you might want to check out Matt Colville’s running the game playlist on YouTube, he brings up some great points for…well…running the game. He discusses the undead in a couple of episodes too – https://youtu.be/icQx5NH_h88 this is the first of the undead episodes. Yes, it’s mostly discussing D&D 5e but the ideas etc can easily be transferred to other play systems.
Happy Sunday all
Happy sunday!
So pyramids… well the biggest pyramid to my knowledge is an old Aztec one in Mexico. Tlachihualtepetl or as its know as the Great Pyramid of Cholula ;D
So skulls… you can never have enough skulls. There is a church in Czech Republic Sedlec Ossuary or something its called.
I suck at those codes, someday i will find out… maybe I will cheat… ;D
apparently the biggest pyramid is in china but the government really doesn’t like people talking about it
Are you sure that’s not just some new casino they’ve built in Beijing?
Oh does it have name ? 😉
I presume Gerry means the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor
Ah well i just followed on my QI knowledge ;D thanks
I remember reading that the 3 pyramids did lineup with Orions belt but the earth isn’t quite in the same position anymore so they look offset. The position of the milky way also matched the position of Nile in relation to the pyramids
Medieval skulls: just go wonder around old cemeteries and look at the old grave stones. A teacher in 8th grade (so 30’ish years ago) did that with us. So yeah, not much news here 😉 Plus: skulls are always good.
Who told you I.. uhm…. Some Dude On YouTube makes the best sauce?!
Ghosts & crypts: ghost could serve as mere distraction… nothing freaked me more out in RPG sessions when we saw something and it did… Nothing! It’s just minding its own business. And don’t forget mimics. Always use mimics. Splitting a party is very much a PITA. You don’t do that…
Riddles in RPG. Oh boy. I once had a party finding a hidden door. And for nearly an hour they tried to push, shove and bash it… used magic and whatnot… NOT ONE OF THEM USED THE RING ON THE DOOR TO PULL! I nearly lost it that night. I was chewing the table. Finally someone pulled and the door was open! Only to have them three steps into the dungeon trigger a trap and nearly kill them all.
Kids and video games. As a parent of an eight year old daughter and a passionate video gamer can tell you: It’s hell.
First and foremost, don’t let your kids play online when you’re not with them. Online games are (in parts) the most vile and hateful places ever.
Secondly if they have Xbox live, or Playstation Network or any other similar online subscriptions: be aware of micro transactions and the costs of them. Kids have bankrupted their parents over games like Fifa and fortnight.
(See https://youtu.be/PVJKKQSE3Eg and https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-48925623 )
Third: Not inviting children to a party due to them not having TechToyX is very bad parenting on behalf of the other parents. I wouldn’t want my kids to be there although I understand that the kids feel different and left out.
My daughter would love to play more video games but the only tech she’s allowed is when we play Disney Infinity together. Most of her (and her friends) activities are still analogue. But as she gets older the calls for a smartphone of her own get louder and louder.
Generally keep your kids interested in offline activities. But prepare to “loose” them around the age of 14. I’ve seen it with my nephews. The moment they get a PC of their own it’s downhill from there.
Here’s hoping my daughter will keep her interest in all her current offline hobbies. (Currently being swimming, playing flute and violin, singing sowing and painting little plastic men) And yes @warzan you’re doing right in keeping them a bit “offline”.
@avernos great hobby time. very well done.
Nice video, will watch again.
I was playing Lamentations of the Flame Princess recently and we reached a japanese style pagoda in the forest. While the group was discussing how to break in, via the second floor, I knocked. talked to the gnomes working for the towers lord, almost critted the roll and got us in the front door. Lord Velvet gave us a tour after dinner and if we’d broken in we’d have been dead in short order
A Japanese Pagoda ?
is that like the dreaded Gazebo ?
http://www.kodtweb.com/2011/05/20/lair-of-the-gazebo-3/
It’s worse…. it doesn’t even breathe!
It’s Undead too ?
Quick … call the cleric
no hold that thought.
get the monks …
@warzan if you download the Viki app, which allows you to watch subtitled Asian TV dramas, under the China section are a couple of good shows involving tomb crawling/robbing called Candle in the Tomb and Candle in the Tomb; Weasels Grave. They’re part of a series of dramas which follow two tomb crawlers. You might get some good ideas lol. The latest series is called Candle in the Tomb; Wrath of Time
https://www.viki.com/apps#browser-support-modal
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candle_in_the_Tomb_(TV_series)
First episode is on YouTube; https://youtu.be/nk4oSXpS3-g
They use ghosts quite effectively in the show, quite scary than just a see throug white thing.

If you like skulls I can recommend a book called The Empire of Death by Paul Koudounaris. It is a cultural History of Ossuraies and Charnel Houses.
https://www.printablescenery.com/product-category/rampage-system/dungeon-tile-crypts/
Maybe useable for a crypt dungeon?
Cheers,
> Trying to come up with the perfect dungeon crawler partly helps him with another conundrum: getting his kids to engage
> with more than just videogames. How do the rest of you parents deal with this?
My parents did not own a TV nor did we have video games growing up so my parents pushed us into hobbies in general including board games. Really it was anything but TV in our house and since Pac-man was mostly in the arcade that was easy to stay away from as well.
My wife had other idea after we got married. I was fine without TV she was definitely not.
After we had our second child (both are now in college and this weekend we helped on second one get moved into his dorm) we talked about not letting the TV or video games be the baby sitter. We basic limited screen time for TV or video games and when there was any parental controls like on Xbox we set limits. No TV or video games in the bedrooms but most of all we got them involved in hobbies or sports or music or whatever that did not involve a TV or video games. My daughter (the eldest child) loved crafts, painting as well as music and dance. We did a lot of math puzzles with her and we are very proud she is studying to be an engineer has taken some of her favorite board games to school with her. My son got into photography, maker type projects building his own gadgets and some sports. He will be studying computer science this fall.
It was a struggle and when they were with their friends all rules were broken as most other parents did not do the same as we did but there is only so much you can control. IMHO, you are in competition with social media and video games these days and it is important that parents take an active role to give kids and alternative. I have younger nephews and nieces and they know if they come over to the house there will be no TV or video games but they have come to learn the fun of board games. A few weeks ago when my brother and his wife were going to vacation in Italy I had their two with me for two weeks. Except for my wife wanting them to see some animated Disney movies they had not seen which we made into a pop-corn and movies night, we played board games, did crafts, went to museums and even played some RPGs.
They both told their parents they did not miss the TV or video games during their stay.
It is just a matter of showing them their are alternatives. Anyway, that is my experience.
Regarding Puzzles:
Free Puzzles:
https://strolen.com/browsing/dungeons/none/Puzzles
Book, it is old but you can still find it
https://www.amazon.com/Book-Challenges-Dungeon-Dungeons-Roleplaying/dp/0786926570
I have used both but for kids I use these and make my own data related to the story.
https://www.activityvillage.co.uk/puzzles
absolutely agree
read WWZ about the Paris catacombs
@avernos I laugh on your Spartans, lol, my Sons of Athens will march and hide behind their wall. If i even get my passport sorted i will come over and play you at Mortal Gods, your Spartans vs my Athenians but I am equally happy to play Clash of Spears too.
Spartans,Athenians? There both just a poor man’s version of the Thebans aren’t they? ?
Lol @torros, I will crush them too
Happy Sunday fellow CoGs!
When i vactionned in Rome this summer, i went and visited the Catacombs di Santa Domitilla and it was an amazing experience (and also the coolest place in Rome at the time, about 10 degrees celsius lol). It’s vast, about 20 km of galeries and, i would not want to get lost in there!
@avernos i really like the look of that Greek force!
I am strugling to resist getting into SPQR and getting a Roman force on the table!
Hi Warzan – my kids are now 24 (Lukas) and 26 (Lisa) old and grew up in the years between 1990 and 2010 – where gaming computers, cell phones, consoles etc. entered the world. My wife and I have tried to find a middle ground between sensible media consumption (she) and buy all these great new stuff (me). You can not completely isolate your children, but you have to stay competent yourself. I have e.g. learned to play Pokemon on Gamboy at the age of 35 And the great thing is that I now have all these cool consoles etc. for me. By the way, my son brought me to the tabletop hobby. So it’s a give and take.
Happy Sunday!
The Wargamer Ank? I love it!
About splitting the party. When I was DMing I didn’t have a problem about it, though I must say than more often than not splitting the party meant that one half of the party was in a room the other in the other room and I would ping pong between them.
Even had a party shooting at one another with bow and arrows not knowing they were shooting at their friends until one got hit and decided to scream (and I made him scream in the next room) and when I got back I went “did you hear the scream a few minutes ago?” and they went yeah “well after you shot, you heard that scream” 😛
However once as player I did spend a good 4 hours listening to someone else who did something stupid in Nightprowler, it’s one of the game I played the least. but one where I did laught the most. So I guess it depends how you prefer, there is perks and cons on the two system but if you do know you party you know what you can and can’t get away with it.
I’ve never had a problem with the amount of skulls you ( used to ? ) find on GW kits, generally it would cause a laugh or two,but that’s about it.To my shame,i’m no good with puzzles and codes ( always struggled with them, going back to the old FF and Lone Wolf books ),so a way to solve the newsletter codes never jumped out at me in any way.All the GB’s are stunning ( as ever ) and make me all kinds of jealous at the skills involved in bringing them to life.Loved the look @avernos has for his Greeks and I hope in the future to get hold of a box or three ( or four ) and get a force built that can hop between at least a couple of systems.
PS.Love the Wargamer Anhk and NEVER,EVER,split the party….
Hey @warzan, my daughter is 7 and she has phone, she only plays games on it, when she wants. and thats maybe 30 min a day. thats because she knows she can play any time after school no restrictions. she on the other hand can play with her toys for hours – usually about 2h a day, this induces time when she reads them, or she plays a teacher and teach them math. you get my point here/? its the way you raise them, phone and games are not something she has limited, she knows that play with toys is much more fun from her own experience.
Just to sum this up weeks ago we had 2 days of Kings of war army game my zombie army against her forces of nature, monster was a teddy bear, my little pony as unicorns, all zubles? and hatchimols? troops, etc. 2 days because she did not wanted to stop playing it. have a fate in your kids,
There is one more thing I probably need to mention too , we dont own tv – not our thing- she is limited to 2 cartoons a day and she has netflix on her phone, she watched 3 cartoons one day and after facing punishment of one cartoon next day she always ask for permission for 3dr and that almost never happens – and she is ok with that and understand it and not crossing line as she knows that I can always check her – if I am not watching cartoons with her)
@warzan you should contact green stuff world they may make a rolling pin with bones?
They sell a big bag of resin skulls as well!
@warzan tombraider
I assume you were putting on a good poker face there @dignity. Well played if so.
Yes. Skulls. If done well they are great. Games Workshop don’t do it well, often, is the problem for me. Quality then quantity. Also, there is a difference between skulls and skull motifs.
I was at a ‘maker faire’ today … and there were a surprising amount of kids and parents just making stuff.
It gave me a few ideas for presents to give my nephews and niece next christmas.
One of the speakers there was talking about how good it is for kids to learn about tools themselves.
She had a poster with 50 of them that she considers important :
http://lekkersamenklooien.nl/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/makersmaken_50tools_ENG.pdf
I must admit that I am so jealous of kids these days, because there is so much kid-friendly stuff out there if you are willing to think outside of the box and avoid the pre-built crap sold at toy shops.
Cardboard construction :
https://www.make.do/
Build your own robot :
https://www.byor.nl/en/shop/
Expensive ? Sure, but IMHO so much better than all of the toy robots sold in toy shops.
I would be concerned about young children and smart phones, theirs a few reports that show young girls suicide increases in rate
Ahh you had to go there and it was Andrew’s fault!!!
You held it open whilst I rummaged about @buggeroff ???
Oi!!!! Mr. Lea @brucelea do not drag me into this sordid affair and after last nights D&D session what is it with you and violating mummies??? like I mean, what the hell!!!
Purely scientific interests, well that and loot ???
LMAO
Serious issues with Roblox, my kids 9 and 12 are not allowed play it, pisses them off no end. But no way. Now the company has stated its safe, but I’m not inclined to taking the risk
My kids do play Minecraft and really enjoy it, I have the Live account and they can only play with friends that I know and have in my friends list. You can get live half price online 😉 @warzan
Switch party!!! that’s a shitty thing to do to kids, I agree with you idea, they should be out playing. Doing a tech specific party is not on, excluding kids is a really nasty and hurtful.
No primary school child should have a mobile phone. have several neighbours that gave they’re kids phones, top end smartphones and where the kids used to run around playing all the time. They’ve stopped and we see them on their fone all the time and taking selfies, these kids a really young. My son is home alone for about 1 hr after school he has access to my old mobile but I’ve disabled everything on it and he knows it’s only for emergencies and it stays in the house, it will be his once he goes to secondary school but there will be T&C’s he has to agree to and follow.

Also @warzan I can’t say whether keeping you kids from pcs and consoles is a good idea or not. But my kid has always had access to everything (cause I’m a bad mom :p). She’s 12 and is now scripting her own games for roblox in LUA. Danish is her native language, but she’s near fleunt in english, and is writing games by herself and with friends from the Netherlands and USA. She’s also teaching herself dutch now, cause she wants to learn about her friends. She might have lost something from being exposed to all that technology, but she’s certainly gained something too.
@warzan not a book as such, but the geek and sundry show – relics and rarities – they did some physical puzzles as part of their sessions – so those might be worth watching to fire up the old brain cells and might spark you some ideas for you to translate to your kids age range.
The other option would also be to get some info from their school about what they are learning about in lessons and bring that into the story and puzzles, so a bit of sneaky support for school learning whilst having the fun playing side.
Late to the party but catching up on my Wargames Ankhing
@dignity in fear of little mens’ pricks again 😉
classic
@warzan – you are not bad, but it was done better by Ken Dodd!
@warzan, never apologise to gw, they still put feet on rocks!
Is “RPG Tips” tea for gamers?
1 hr 4mins… I literally spit my tea!! Best XLBS moment EVAR!
@warzan having watched my 4yr old cry at not being able to jump one of the pups from the PS4 Paw patrol game, you are doing the right thing!
If you have tips on how to stop him from being scared by non scary stuff (Queen Vic from pirates, adventures with scientists, or thunderbirds – original puppets) I am all ears as I don’t feel he is ready for games stuff until I can be confident am not going to give him nightmares and thus get a bollocking from the missus
@warzan I had a thought… 70’s and 80’s kids shows like DND the cartoon, Nightmare and maybe even He-man might provide scenarios or kid friendly puzzles with the added moral learning at the end as the obs didn’t want to make it all about punching people n the face…
@warzan, if it
s puzzles your after you could do something along the lines of Crystal Maze.Great show guys, and it would
t be the same if @warzan did not at least take up half the show with what he has been doing with/for his children.Nice to see Jerry have some hobby time, loving the Greek miniatures and the shields of the hoplites. The unique heraldry and colours really do go with the colours of the mini
s, now its time for you to get working on some multi-coloured troops.@dignity, you should know by now...........Never ever trust a man with a pointy stick, as theyll always poke you with it.
How to get a book of dungeon trap ideas @warzan. invite my mate Pete Bellingham over to N.I.Ireland to play.
have a room of full of amazing dungeon goodies and no traps, then get a pen and paper or get Justin to film it
you will end up after half and hour of more trap ideas then you could shake a leg at, as his paranoia goes overtime and he checks for every type of trap possible.
I did in in a Twiligtht 2000 scenario…. I didnt have a Justin!
Just had to rewatch this @avernos as mick said we’d been called out for our thorough investigative approach, doesn’t everyone do a full cavity search when they find a mummy?????
my daddy certainly did 😉
