I’ll fill your space Warren…erm…
Do you provide bratwurst though 😉
*sigh*…
What kind of studio is this exactly? Is this sight for a new film? Beastly, Beefy Brats upon the Bann?
Just a Bratwurst? Wow your a cheap night out.
When you think about BoW last year during the whole GW/Wayland misery, you have to smile at how things have turned around.
Happy for you guys, glad you are going from strength to strength.
I’m new to BoW, so just did a Google search for BoW + Weyland, and found this: http://www.beastsofwar.com/games-workshop/announcement/
My respect for GW has dropped even lower than it was. What a shower of shits. The irony is that I only started watching Bow vids, and then joined as a Backstager, because there was so little GW coverage!
I stopped playing and buying GW stuff around 3rd Ed WHFB, when White Dwarf became GW-only sales literature.I don’t like their limited and locked-in game structure, stifling creativity to enable them to sell expensive rules-specific models to run an ‘army’. Luckily GW stuff was, and still is, only the tip of a large iceberg when it comes to gaming.
Funny how you can get different perspectives, I only started watching BOW because of the GW content, but through that I found all the other cool stuff… Though ill admit, I’m still a whore for FW 😉
remind me whats on your salute shopping list and ill buy the FW stand out before you get to it.. ala Warren 😉
Noooooo!!!
Very cool!
Cool stuff, it’s nice to see what’s going. For a second, I thought Warren was going to ask us if we wanted to buy a chair, lol. 😀
Looking good! You got yourself a proper TV-channel going with the new office and studio. Will the Beast of War offices and studio be open to visits from the backstagers?
We are thinking yes
We got the basic go ahead today from the building owners to run events and tournaments (nothing too massive – quite cosy type affairs) so we are open to suggestions.
You open to suggestions, never! Lol
Valhalla in Ireland? 😉
With the bonus of not having to die in battle.
I’d certainly be up for these events, superb idea and a trip to Northern Ireland counts as a holiday for the missus. Win win.
Great news! Hope it all works out well for you all.
Great work guys, Would happily fill a chair for you and make sure you have flood insurance with being so close to the river.
Looking good, wished I could manage to get over and fill a chair at least on a temporary situation/
I’m so glad to see a wee business like this doing so well. It’s great to see that you can do something that is innovative, fun and true to the hobby. Love it.
Tournaments at BoW Towers! Bring it on!
Dust, KoW or Dropzone Commander for me , please 🙂
I spy a perfect room to run tabletop RPG from. I could.. just about.. fit all my Star Wars minis and terrain on that table 😉
The new office space is looking great and I hope you guys can keep that place for a good few years because it seems like it will be perfect once the A-Team have completed their modifications!
Wow, impressive. Now you have too much space!
Good luck with the expansions looking impressive, you guys must be pretty good & as well as time served at removal’s business by now at least this time it’s voluntary.
You’re building a proper studio and the video will be nice and sharp. Are you going to start wearing suits and blow-dry your hair like a newscaster?
I’ve always been curious about your studio setup and enjoyed this backstage sneak peak.
great news guys glad your spreading your buttery goodness into more studios he he, i like seeing behind the scenes it makes you guys more tactile and real if you know what i mean.
Looking forward to seeing the studio up and running good luck and take care 🙂
You need to do some naval battles on that river with model boats 😛
The new studio looks great, so much room! You could probably film a beasts of war movie in that. Certainly got the room to make some HUGE tables now. The editing suite looks nice too.
How’s about you! This sort of access is brilliant, I doubt whether most peeps realise how hard you guys work! Hope the wee man is doing well and the lady wife has recovered.
Can I win a stormtrooper? (Please) 😉
Good luck lads, you deserve great success.
Looks good dudes! Loving that Captain America poster!
Warren, I completely understand you wanting to retain some mystery to BoW productions, but I for one really appreciate the access we backstagers are privy to. One of the things I respect about BoW over many many other businesses is how open you are, and how willing you are to communicate matters with your viewers. Your statement about GW prompting your move back to Ireland for example, or the matter of Facebook/Blood Of Kittens the other week, were handled in a very honest way that I think many of the community members appreciate, and while a studio move isn’t quite the contentious matter those other examples could have developed into, giving us a behind the scenes look still speaks to your peerless conduct.
Keep up the good work, and I’m looking forward to seeing some videos from Riverside 🙂
Congrats guys, best of luck with the new studio. I look forward to all the great stuff I know that will be coming in the future.
Nice to see the BoW studios are expanding. I hope I can help virtually fill one of those chairs.
Nice work boys! Anytime you need chair filling I’m sure you’ll find it here!
Moving has become a ritual for you guys hasn’t it? lol
Ever think there’ll be a year without new construction of sets or will the moving/building bug strike again?
Betting pool on that anyone?
Great to see BoW studios are expanding. Looking forward to see the new studios in action at the weekend
That place is huge! Nice going guys
There’s so much more space for activities!
Considering where you guys were at this time last year and where you are now. What a turnaround. I’m looking forward to 2015 so much
This is so friggen cool! Congratulations on all the progress. It’s really amazing how much has changed in such a short time and I’m sure you’re happy that you don’t need to build the studio from scratch again!
I must add that this really provides a good example of how the hobby gaming industry is expanding and growing too. The fact that a small group of friends with a website and some cameras can do something like this is incredible and I feel is a beacon of growth for hobbyists everywhere.

Cringe lol
lol sweet little song…. just a shame it was filmed on a potato… 🙂
Hmm… nice for quick getaways with a speedboat.
And I see you’re already working on a sub too…
Congrats on the additional space! It is amazing how much you guys have grown in a years time. Looking forward to see what comes out of the new studio.
Holy moley! That place is huge!
Even having seen the Studio One setup videos and the extremely efficient use of the space, it doesn’t really detract from the magic. Seeing how much space you really have in the new place seems proportional to what you’d imagine the studio space to be.
If that makes any sense, whatsoever…
Hope that it all goes well. It seems like only yesterday that I was watching a video of you moving out of England.
Looks like you have enough space for Live Rounds now !
Managed to get in a medium strength ‘justin-burn’ in a mere two minute video Warren, I am impressed lol
why do people always forget that im the one who edits these things 🙂
You mean there’s tonnes more that you edit out? 🙂
Love the new studio space. So much room for gaming goodness.
One thing i’m curious on though… Is this rented space? I only ask because I thought you built studio 1 inorder to avoid renting.
Either way. I could only dream of having even a quarter of that space for gaming. lol
I’m sure I remember Warren saying they spent about one year’s renting budget on building the shed. It’s been about a year since work started on it so if I do recall correctly, that would mean the rental budget is freed up again around about now.
Ahha. Fair enough. 🙂
As everyone above im psyched that things are going your way and that production is expanding.
For me these behind the scenes clips always been interesting. I love the technical side of the enterprise. Would love to see the actual cameras and lights too, so I can dream about doing my own BoW things at home.
really looking forward to see what 2015 have in store for us here at BoW and if you need some swedish assistance with those chairs Ill jump on the next plane over there.
Cheers from Sweden
going from strength to strength, keep up the good work 🙂
Should have had a competition with first prize Lloyd helping with your next house move!
How comes Lloyd does all the work
That’s a big main room that currently doesn’t seem to have a purpose related to the content you produce at the moment. Looking forward to seeing what you plan to do with it!
Seems to be a rather large area for your stated purpose and plans, hope there are others that we have not heard about yet.
I enjoy the behind the scenes peeks we get as backstagers, added perk if you will.
Like the new pad Lads.
I hope yous have everything you need close by…..an offie, Dominos, another offie, B&Q, another offie……well that should just about do it actually.
I’m sure they made sure that they’re over the road from Poundland and B&Q – for all your Hobbylab needs.
don’t forget the charity shops?
Looking great guys, things are looking up! Does this mean you now have the space to get elromanozo locked in studio 1 with some Batman miniatures? 🙂
great to see BOW going from strength to strength.
……a great start to 2015………and it’s not even 2015 yet!…..lol ……………well done lads
I hope the Winnie the Pooh curtains are coming too or are they being returned to the child u stole them from …
Amazing stuff, great to see you guys are prospering that office space looks huge compared to Studio 1!
So cool for you guys @warzan! Glad I can help out just a little via subscription. Congrats!
The vlogs are my favourite bits of content. Makes you feel more a part of beasts of war
Now all you need is a nice sexy lady to help present….wink wink….
Aw, bless Justin and his cold/sore throat/man flu; it sounds like it’s being filmed by Darth Vader!
Great to see you guys expanding and all the best is most definitely wished. Please include a large, scary chair for any potential dungeon masters… 😀
New studio looks great. Love seeing all this “behind the scenes” stuff.
Fantastic stuff, its very inspirational to see how far you have come doing something you love. Well done lads.
I’m really glad you did decide to film this video. It was the weekender that first got me hooked on BoW, and it wasn’t long before I realised I was more than happy to pay for the XLBS. I’ve since discovered all sorts of other cool parts to the site/community too.
This video highlights what’s so good about BoW though; what makes it different from just another blog covering wargames. Showing us backstagers backstage just makes us feel more like we’re all part of a community, and that our community is part of a wider, exciting, gaming community.
Yes the behind the scenes stuff dos me us feel wanted and more involved with everything that is beast of war. It’s so good to see beats of war grow stronger and stronger!
The force is with you.
I’d happily sit in the Beasts of War boardroom. Where do I apply? 🙂
What a location! Glad for you guys.
Love this behind the scene stuff. It just shows how dedicated you guys are and how much work it actually is to realise this. And I get the feeling to get of my ass and DO SOMETHING! I need a new job…
