Bristlenose the troll
Next up is Bristlenose the troll.
With this one I thought I would list the method to make think about what was doing?
First I base coated the skin, I choose a mid tone of GW Death guard green and mixed it with some black.
I then painted in the skin tone with pure Death guard green
I then added some GW Ogryn Camo in increasing amounts and layered it over the skin.
I painted the loin cloth with GW Caledor sky mixed with Kantor blue and worked up just Caledor sky. I then mixed in some white in increasing amounts to do the highlights.
I painted the strappings with XV 88 and washed it with Agrax earthshade
i also painted the wheelbarrow in leadbelcher.
I then highlighted the details and mostly forgot to note down what I used. And when I was just needing to add a highlight to the ropes, dropped the model.
Fortunately the model didn’t really break but it did chip the paintwork.
I essentially had to redo all of the fins around the body as I could match the colours I used before.
But as you can see below, the miniature painting has been completed, I will return to the base at some stage in the future.
