Sequels & Prequels – New Star Wars: Shatterpoint Reveals!
November 17, 2025 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games held their immense Ministravaganza for 2025 over the weekend and revealed some awesome new miniatures for a bunch of their games. We start with a favourite of mine at the moment, Star Wars: Shatterpoint, which ventures into the prequels, sequels and expanded Star Wars universe.
Alone With Friends // Star Wars: Shatterpoint
The sequel movies are finally getting some miniature love and this starts with the first set for the Resistance, Alone With Friends. This set comes with the major characters from the first film, including Finn (who can be built with a blaster or a lightsaber), alongside Rey, Han Solo and Chewbacca.
I have always been a fan of the characters from The Force Awakens and I think it was a great reintroduction back into the world of Star Wars. Finn has always been great and I wish more had been done with him. I like the scrappy Rey in the first movie and there's no way you could be sad about a new pair of miniatures for Han Solo and Chewbacca.
Maybe this could be a great opportunity for you to dive in and tell your own take on the sequels with the main characters?
As well as the new set for the main cast, you will also be able to support them with We Are The Spark.

This set looks to the third movie in the sequel trilogy and gives you miniatures for Poe Dameron, Zorii Bliss and a pair of Resistance Fighters to use alongside them. I think that both Poe and Zorii were massively underused in the movies and it felt like we should have got more out of them over the course of the trilogy. It's nice to also have some rank and file from this era to play with as well.
First Order Miniatures
As well as the Resistance, you'll also need the First Order to pit against them on the tabletop.
On My Command // Star Wars: Shatterpoint
On My Command features another character who got the short end of the stick in Captain Phasma. She could have been suitably iconic in the style of Boba Fett! She is backed up in this set by a First Order Flametrooper and a pair of First Order Stormtroopers. You'll also note that Captain Phasma can be built in a couple of different ways, depending on which moment you want to represent on the tabletop.
Captain Phasma won't be along, as there was also news that you'll get support in the form of the I Will Finish What You Started pack (not shown). Unlock the dark side of The Force with Kylo Ren, FN-2199 and two Riot Control First Order Troopers.
Again, it's great to see that these sequel characters are finally getting some time on the tabletop and with some lovely-looking miniatures as well. It will be interesting to see if this is the extent of the coverage from Atomic Mass for the sequels or if there's more to come, filling in some of the gaps.
More Prequel Miniatures!
As well as a trip to the sequels, we also got a look back in time to the prequels! The Negotiations Will Be Short set comes with Qui-Gon Jinn and Padawan version of Obi-Wan Kenobi!
The Negotiations Will Be Short // Star Wars: Shatterpoint
It's great to see them in the mix and these miniatures will be a perfect addition to the existing set for Padme and her Handmaidens. That is made all the more perfect thanks to the inclusion of Captain Panaka and two of the Naboo Royal Guard.
I can't wait for someone to recreate the fateful duel from The Phantom Menace, or the skirmish through the Separatist ship from the beginning of the film.
More Villainous Foes
Lastly, we got more previews for some of the villains that were teased last year by Atomic Mass Games.
Secure The Future - Cards // Star Wars: Shatterpoint
Secure The Future includes the miniatures for Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, an excellent pairing that folks are very eager to pick up. I will need to take a little bit more time reading through their cards and the information here to see how they combo together but they feel very characterful.
We also got a look at some of the cards for My Loyalty, My Life, which introduces Morgan Elsbeth alongside the shambling Night Troopers and the mysterious Enoch.

It will be neat to see the combinations that folks explore when it comes to adding these villains into their games. More excellent miniatures showing off the characters from the core Star Wars universe and the expanded narrative.
It seems like Star Wars: Shatterpoint is going from strength to strength and it was neat to see Atomic Mass working on miniatures for all sorts of different time periods. Let me know how excited (or not) you are for the sequel characters!

I couldn’t catch the ministravaganza live and it looks like there is no VOD for it. Need to take some time and read up on SW:L stuff. There’s a lot planned it looks like
For sure – will be looking at that later today. I would imagine we’ll see an upload of the VOD on YouTube at some point
I was never that fond of the prequels because the Anakin/Padme love story was done so badly in 2 and 3. Less said about baby Anakin in 1 the better…
As for the sequels… Force Awakens showed promise… then it went down the toilet like a bad case of the two bob bits.
Ahsoka was promising in her Mandalorian appearance, but the series was mediocre. If I ever expected to play the game instead of just adding to the existing pile of primed and mostly untouched minis then I might buy Baylan and Shin.
same here.
Altough that other boxed set from the Baylan Skoll-show looks interesting as well.
Still no Yoda though, which is odd as there are iterations of the rest of the cast from the classic trilogy.
I’m actually pretty excited about the sequel-era models. While the films leave a lot to be desired, I do find the characters appealing, so this will be a great opportunity to make up my own stories for them.
With the Prequels we got Clonewars cartoon that more or less fixed all the problems the movies had.
It’s a damned shame that we haven’t seen anything even close for the Farce Awakens trilogogy.
I prefer to wargame in the Clone War period, because it is a full scale war, regardless whether the movies are good or not. The Clone Wars animated series is good though, much better than rebels.
Rebels was pretty good. It had a more focused storyline and it had that blue guy.
Plus it gave us Sabine 😀
In clone wars you can see the technology develop as they master the mechanics of creating animated content. I think they had an even bigger budget for the final season that more or less introduced ‘bad batch’.
Definitely agree that from a wargaming point of view the ‘clone wars’ era is the place to be.
The rebellion era does have interesting bits if you keep it more contained to small scale skirmishes (preferably assymetrical to reinforce how massive the empire is compared to the rebels … ).
Stormtroopers hurrah!
