New Multi-Part Ork Warboss Previewed For Warhammer 40,000
March 9, 2026 by brennon
Games Workshop were quick to properly reveal their new multi-part plastic for the upcoming Ork Warboss. This fellow snuck his way onto the internet over the weekend and gives you a teaser of what's coming up for Warhammer 40,000 as we move closer to 11th Edition.
Ork Warboss // Warhammer 40,000
This brand-new Ork Warboss is a multi-part plastic kit which comes with a bunch of different options for those looking to bring their big bad Ork to the tabletop. You can equip the Ork Warboss with a choppa, power klaw, combi-shoota and there's also an Attack Squig if you want to let something off the chain.
The Ork Warboss also comes with the option to build an Ammo Grot. What's neat about this is that we've had some great Ork miniatures in the past few years but a brand-new Warboss that you can build in a multitude of ways should give Ork gamers something fun to convert and tinker with.

As well as the Ork Warboss coming with a bunch of weapons, the miniature is also festooned with buckles, kneepads, ammo belts and more, including various heads, boss poles and weapon bitz. I think that the Ork Warboss looks great but I am very drawn to the Ammo Grot, who looks like he means some serious business. I think he's the real brains behind the operation.
Games Workshop has mentioned that more information on upcoming releases will be dropping today (Monday), so keep an eye out and we might be back with more Ork goodness soon.
What do you make of this Ork Warboss?

It might be the angle of the picture but the arm with the axe looks so tiny. It is his strong hand? XD Also: FOOT ON ROCK! there is a perfectly good Ammo Grot to put beneath that boot! Other than that… not that impressed tbh.
It’s … underwhelming. As a die-hard Ork nut, this doesn’t do much for me… ☹️
I think the model is ok, not amazed by it but i do think its a nice mini in general. I think GW is moving away from heroic scale in general but for an orc with more “realistic” proportions this has now led to him having small hands and small teeth which looks a bit odd for an Orc
He does have ridiculously tiny hands, now that you point it out 😂
Quick call the Moderator – they’re body shaming this poor Ork…
😱
I don’t mind the direction, compared to some recent orks. That raised arm looks weird. If thats just camera angle then its a ok revision. Doors remaining firmly on
He’s a LOT better than the new Boyz box. That’s a disaster. I bought two thinking they would be good to mix with the (still for sale) “old Boyz” box. Major disappointment. They can only be built one way in GW Puzzle-piece style, the heads are awful. Immediately bought more “old Boyz”.
I held off on them, 40k hasn’t been getting to the table and I have a lot of old boyz. They seem an odd kit. Current 40k plans are to trim down and play old editions or other rulesets. A good refresh could tempt me to do a small force but prices and gw rules not really delivering for me make finding the value difficult
