It might seem weird but every wargamer knows the 'new box smell'. So, we've been tinkering around with some of the tables set up by 4Ground and getting set up for folks to enjoy themselves tonight.

Remember taking images of the miniature layout in the box – I painted my kickstarter edition and had some difficulties to find the right slot for the different models.
Taking a wild guess, it’s @lancorz, @warzan and @dignity making the zombie noise in the video intro/outro.

Loving the tables. Saw some kickstarter editions at the crisis show in antwerp.
I was sorely tempted, but it was a bit above my budget.

Almost as good as the new box smell is the serious case of “Shiny!” you get when you open the box. This is probably the slickest box product that has ever come out of Mantic 😀

with that many new boxes surely the whole room must be permiated with new box smell, Oh yeah and gamer that have spent hours traveling smell I guess

My wife has just commented on the video stating its nice to see Ben in his full form rather than just a big head, sure she didn’t mean Ben is arrogant!!
The tables came out fantastic.
Love the scattered furniture barricades – the upended bedstead in the middle of the field with the gate was classic hide behind zombie terrain. 😀
I wonder if they make that “new box” smell the same way they do the “new car” smell, by spraying before sealing?

Nothing beats that plasticy cardboard smell, to bad nobody has found away to bottle it. It would make a great game room air freshener.

I half thought that kill zone template was a CD like you find in some board games. But i realized it must be a blast template… right? Its not a mood cd is it?!

At least it’s new box smell and not rotting flesh smell, but I’m guessing by Sunday, there will be some funky smells emitting from some of the bootcampers

Wish I could’ve afforded the flight over to this, would’ve signed up in a heartbeat otherwise.
