The Walking Dead Boot Camp – Friday

It's time for us to head to the pub and let this all blow over.

Hang on no it isn't! We've got pints to down and plenty of planning to do as we head towards the rest of this epic Boot Camp weekend

Hey...errr, Doug? How are you doing. Something seems a bit wrong with your eyes dude. Oh My God!

It's time to catch up with Ronnie once again as we finish off the games for tonight and consider heading off to the pub soon.

Oh...and we have some errant zombies on the run.

Getting into the spirit of things it appears as if Caleb is ready to chomp on some brains. With a whole weekend of great food on the horizon maybe some delicious grub will sait his need for brains!

Working alongside 4Ground we've been able to create some wonderful tables packed with amazing terrain, showing off epic scenes of a future gone awry.

However, when you take a look at the big picture sometimes you miss the little details so we've collected together this gallery showing off some of the small touches that appear throughout the boards.

With the dust settling on the magnificent mulletman's (Warren) game we find out how it went and what insane things happened during his misadventures on the tabletop.

The walkers don't just eat brains. They also enjoy some delicious food from our local place.

People are getting stuck in before we head to the pub later!

The undead problem is getting a bit out of hand now. When we said that they'd be able to come and experience The Walking Dead here this weekend we didn't mean quite this literally...

We catch up with Warren and find out how his games are going as he has fully embraced this Boot Camp and is really enjoying getting stuck in.

It will be interesting to see how this one plays out but

It's fun making sure that we get to infect all of our Boot Campers. With that in mind here's Andrew who has become a shambling fiend out for braaaains!

It seems like Beasts Of War came out on top as they clashed with 4Ground's Ben on the tabletop for The Walking Dead: All Out War.

We're having a bit of fun but it seems like Ronnie may have taken things a little too seriously and got himself infected!

Ronnie & Rob from Mantic Games are on hand delving into the mechanics of the game with the Boot Camp members who have popped in lately.

It's been very easy to pick up the rules and folks are beginning to learn more about the tips and tactics you need to win.

We're catching up with some of the Boot Campers to see how their games are going and the first pairing is Gerry and Adam.

It's been quite the fight around the campsite with this one and there's no sign of glamping involved at all!

We've been following along with some of the games already today and talking with the Boot Campers but we thought we'd also get down into the action to see how it's all coming together and get a closer look at the buildings from 4Ground.

We catch up with Ronnie from Mantic Games to find out how the first games are going and what he thinks of the survivors chances so far.

Everyone is having loads of fun and we've already heard a bunch of whoops! and yeahs! from tables as something spectacular happens!

People are now getting stuck into the game and delving into their first scenarios with a handful of survivors.

There has already been a few explosions, the odd ambush, plenty of gunshot wounds and a few nice surprises as they battle it out over supplies.

We got to sit down and learn how to play The Walking Dead: All Out War by Mantic Games and Ronnie is doing just that now with those who are taking part in the Boot Camp.

He's running through the rules and setting up a simple scenario for them to play as they get used to the rules and start slaughtering zombies and each other!

It might seem weird but every wargamer knows the 'new box smell'. So, we've been tinkering around with some of the tables set up by 4Ground and getting set up for folks to enjoy themselves tonight.

As we mentioned we're popping open the boxes and taking a look at their contents put together by Mantic Games while Ronnie makes sure to keep the tables looking shipshape!
