Finishing Up Gerry’s Game – After Action Report

Let's find out how Gerry's game ended up. He's moving on to join in with the participation game now but decided to stop off and let us know what happened at the end of his match-up.

This game really showed off some of the new mechanics and made the zombies all the more deadly.

ohh – warzan is still alive – i am so glad….

arbblsbigbelcher

Always nice when you sacrifice one of your own to get a result.

blaeyn

More Lloyd-bombing. Where’s the rubber Lucille?

caledor2

Everybody likes a mercy kill, especially if you buff your guys in the process.

wolf320f

i wouldnt mind a brother like lloyd hes crazy and does monkey impressions or was it a walker?

panzerkaput

I am liking what I am hearing about the nerve mechanic as it really seems to work and add to the game.

drummer

Looks like this game will teach players to focus more on looting and less on killing. Great tactical decisions.

staxer

Expendable kids

tmon

Sounds like a close game.

normandyfan

a great game

spaced2020

A little nerve wins the game hey? Gerry comes across as a great chap with a good sense of humour. It sounds like Negan plays exactly as you would expect from the TV series – lol’d at the “moral ambiguity”.

bmat

The idea of winning or losing a game because of nerve… letting out a scream at an inopportune moment is very thematically rich and impactful.

stormshriek

It’s one of the biggest factor in my interest in this game.

fox40

Nice to see the nerve mechanic in action

necrothrall

sounds like a fun game

brand

Noooooo…Sophia!!!!

somegeezer

In that environment I would *not* be doing walker impressions!

bigdaddio

I really need to stop watching these BoW videos….my kids may never eat again at this rate, lol.

mulletsteve

not sure I’m ready to see NEGAN winning again… Too Soon man to soon

jmrecoil

Sounds like another awesome game.

pojoh

Negan … struck nothing but air? so he … struck out! .. thank goodness for the rest of his team. Sounds like fun!

laughingboy

hehe I must stop watching these and commenting just making me want to play more and more.

lordbob

I’d like to see a game with sophia killing Neegan

blasterca

If Negan was swinging & missing all game long, I doubt killing Sophia was a mercy. More like rage fuelled batting practice!

Blaster was here… but wouldn’t be for long [one way or another…] if Negan was around!

stormshriek

“It was a kindness.” That sounds like Negan.

fireblarney

Nothing wrong with a mercy kill, even better if it buffs you in the process

rbwgames

Negan swarm for the win!

psyche

Are many people running Negan over the weekend? He really is just misunderstood.

greaper

Nasty really Nasty

caleum

sound for a fun game

badgobo

Love the special rule of negan

bobmoor

That Negan rule I suppose fits with him perfectly, as someone else said I’d like that model just to kill him a few times.

cbrenner

Very kind of him to put Sophia out of her misery.

buggeroff

well done Gerry sounds like a great game

avernos

it was, Negan was a monster. So much so that I felt the urge to rest him for the rest of the weekend and go for unusual combos to stress test the game a bit. Turns out it’s very good

radegast6

and you have soft spot for sofia 😀

paintingdeamon

And thats the way to play Negan

attilla13

Love the lack of ambiguity! Nothing at all wrong with the mercy kill…especially if you win!

marktarver

Good use of negan to get rid of dying team mates anyway, like that tactic

usling

Everyone is happy

harald0skald

Brains!

scrapspoxx

youve must have a good day

cybermonkey

Being a walker suited Lloyd a little too much dont you think?

baranora

Great game!

stkelly82

I want hear about the rules for folks bitten but not yet turmed. Hope that is covered.

hargarpad

Looks like a fun game

rgreenparadox

From the sound of it, the nerve mechanic won’t play as big a role in smaller, lower point games. But in a bigger game, it could change things a ton.
