You have to sell 1000 frames for up to 12£ each, only to pay the tooling. And that is only for 1 frame of a mouse. @oatsworn have to make a living with the sales, so, let us say we pay 15£ (12+3£) they make 3000£ IF they sell 1000 frames.

Given the numbers that @oathsworn quote I doubt that it would be worth the financial risk. Just numbers wise they’d have to have 4 times the number of backers of their kickstarts to purchase it to just break even for the smaller option (at 10 bpd/sprue).
