Ha… my problem is I’m adding the Morts SO i can add the Ratcatchers… lol… what’s that, now I’ll have 10 of the 11 Guilds? sounds like I’m one short, eh?

So they are a “Minor” Guild meaning they can play with these 6 and then 2 Morticians can play for them (Bonesaw & Vet Graves) and 2 of them (Skulk and Pelage) can play for the Morticians… the downside being when they are released, Morticians will have no access to any Union models (and neither […]

My http://www.assetdrop.co backorders arrived the other day. Seems they include a liquid pigment for this job. They even use the FoW desert camo Grants in their instructions. I think this could be a perfect time to try out my first Asset Drop paint.
The particular paints are Lifecolour Liquid pigment LPW 04 Black Grey and […] -

Great episode. Not currently a Guild Ball player, but here’s what I think would make a plausible team.
Miners’ Guild
Prop – big lad at the back
Dynamite – Captain (also lobs explosives at opponents)
Pick – striker
Hewer – defensive midfield
Trapper – attacking midfield
Mascot – Arthur: a canary -

I believe AJ is busy with a new job and possibly a house move. Something along those lines was posted a while back when I asked the same question

Another great episode, really enjoyed the nemesis let’s play, despite being a little long the tension and “story” kept me glued until the end.
Guild Ball Team: The Hobby Guild
Captain: Epoxy – he holds the team together
Roster: Sable, Clipper, Emery & Pot
Mascot: Green Stuff – an animated blob of amorphous green goo -

I’ve started painting my british units first, as I know what colour I’m using for their base coat. I’ve yet to decide for sure with the germans. Thats my next job. Firstly, I primed everything and went with the zenithal preshade option. I figure theres going to be lots of ledges etc which would produce […]

Some quick responses. Should have brought a laptop with me to the kids club while my son runs around. The phone will do. @evilstu you make a valid point on points. Forum like button it is. Thanks for the compliment. I didn’t think I did too much with my rank and file minis to be honest. @limburger […]

Hey guys, New rota at work so getting used to a second longer shift in my pattern. It’s kinda hard to adjust to a new routine after using the same one for ten years. Anyway some not great photos. Just a close up on my crossbowmen champion. His blade and face in particular. The rest […]

Macrocosm Miniatures are going to be on Kickstarter soon for their Bonefields project. This brings Dwarves and Goblins to the tabletop but with a twist…an undead twist! Leading the way for both forces we have some heroic (or villainous) individuals. The first is the Goblin Vampire above who has reanimated his Greenskin fellows in an effort to […] -

Picked up two starters at PAX: Unplugged after trying a few rounds. It’s got some nice mechanics, not a huge shift if you are used to other games in this genre, but still enough different to be worth a few plays. The way casting costs are handled is very fast and light. It’s a shame […]

Very nice! Crazy level of detail and hand building. The result looks beautiful. Looks like it will have taken quite a bit of time to do, but I guess you get faster the more you practice, as with anything.

The Indian mutiny stuff and the like has never been an issue for me, because it is not a part of my country´s history. However, seeing a miniature like this one and reading the text Brennan quoted I will at least give the historical aspect a try and look whether this might be something for […]

For me it´s the witch doctor as well. I´d paint him a bit darker, though. The dwarf with the whirling chains is the reincarnation of the fearsome “Dammaz Drengi” from one of the WFB campaign books. Even the mohawk is very similar. But, haven´t I heard something that female dwarves very much resemble their male […]

The Starter Decks that are available allow you to get stuck in with a variety of the different styles of play. The game […] - Load More
