If you look here (https://war-of-sigmar.herokuapp.com/bloggings/1978) at the second picture on the left is something like a Rhino they are probably sold in that one in stores, but who knows maybe you can get them in vending machines too.
Price listed there is higher though but I don’t know which one is rght.

Thanks @torros – I’ll check them out. I have a feeling I’ve seen some of Pendraken’s miniatures, although from what I remember they’re actually larger than 10mm. I know they do a lot of great 10mm ranges, but I think their fantasy one is larger… I’ve heard of the other two companies although don’t know much […]

One last thing I meant to ask – did you make those playing card sheets for the different characters as well? 😀

I only mention it, @avernos , because after this Weekender I found myself “inspired” to watch the movie again on Sunday – while painting a box’s worth of American Iroquois Confederacy natives. Seemed vaguely appropriate.

I had a look something gentle for dissolving the talc – it does look at this stage that that a las cannon might be your best bet….

Second Edition was only the book. Not a boxed set. I think they wanted you to play with miniatures, but I played for decades with counters and it worked fine so long as you made the counter the right size. Romans vs. Celts, Vikings vs. Saxons, my friend @aras even set up some Teutons vs. Lithuanians vs. […]

Thanks, @gladesrunner … You know, If I knew more about magic in AD&D I would almost be tempted to set this sucker up and virtual-play it in 2nd Edition.

Thanks, @rasmus – the center was definitely a crush but around the right wing was where I hope we could get some real “medieval maneuver” in there. Failing that, we were just starting to get some cracks in the center. I had finally figured out how to dispel ice walls, and as the battleline became jagged, […]

Hobby link Japan has them listed at approx 45mm when assembled.
So they should be taller than a primaris even if that 45 mm includes the base.

Wanted a recovery vehicle for Yanks and was looking for something different… as I was kindly gifted a Dragon Wagon, I wanted to use that, but the low loader trailer makes it a bit impractical for gaming. But then while looking at pics, I found them in use without the trailer using its winch as […]

Gloss Varnish Metal Color 77.657: The varnish has been formulated especially for airbrushing; it dries very fast and does not leave fingerprints (“no tack”). Gloss Varnish 77.657 can be applied directly or diluted with distilled water or Thinner 71.261. In some cases, a layer of varnish is enough but if more layers are required, an […]

@lawnor said: @craigwrdouglas Metal varnish? What is this? I’ve never heard of it before. I’m assuming it compliments metallic paints under it, but is it really that different to other varnishes? What does it do if used over non metallics? I can see me wasting some time at work tomorrow looking this stuff up. Oh, and damn nice […]
