Fabled Realms Beta Weekend – Sunday

We take another look at the campaign map that the folks here at the Beta Weekend are going to be playing on. There seems to be a bit of back and forth going on for sure, exploring the shifting narrative in Fabled Realms.

We take a closer look and talk to Gaz about his kitbashed monster/contraption. It is quite the inspired piece and shows off the creativity that exists within our wonderful little community, and what Fabled Realms invokes in people too.

We catch up with Adrian and Jared as they play out one of the achievements from the weekend, slaying a mighty Terror!

These are not simple creatures to destroy and Adrian has almost had to specially design his Ogre warrior here to destroy said beastie!

We stop in with Cad to find out what has happened after a few games have been played out in the hall, exploring the changes on the Fabled Realms campaign map.

This is a rather nifty little thing and we can't wait to get our hands on our own for campaign purposes too.

We find out how Stuart's game of Fabled Realms is going here at the Beta Weekend. It's always awesome seeing the Druggoi hit the battlefield, slaughtering their way through the enemy on the tabletop and turning them into cursed beasts.

Gareth & Annie from Cosy Dice have played a game using their fully painted warbands. We will have a close-up of Annie's warband later on today but as you can see this is looking rather epic!

What do you think of the narrative focus within Fabled Realms?

I talk with Cad about the variety of options available to you when it comes to building a warband in the world of Fabled Realms. You have soooooo much scope when it comes to looking at the Sell Sword Guild and other Mercenary warbands out there in the world.

Take a look at Justin's Valkyries, which are not only part of the fluff but also adding to the want for MORE background in the future.

Sam talks with Ben about some of the spot prizes that were given away towards the end of the day yesterday. Folks got to win some very nice goodies and that helps them build a bigger pool of models throughout the campaign event and beyond.

Which model is your favourite from the selection?

Since this is a Fabled Realms Beta Weekend, that means that some of the rules are in flux and so Cad talks through some of the changes that they are implementing when it comes to the game this weekend.

Justin wanted to show off just some of the models from his Shieldwolf inspired warband for use in the Fabled Realms. These ladies hit hard but if they get struck in return they might end up in some pain...they are effectively glass cannons.

We will have to make sure that we catch up with Justin and find out how his warband has fared throughout their games.

We're back for the Fabled Realms Beta Weekend where we've got some very tired, but very cool folks waiting to get their kitbashed warbands onto the tabletop.

Justin and Sam have been tinkering away as well but we're looking forward to learning more about alternative rules and the campaign system too.
