The future certainly looks bright (if that’s the right word, here!) for Dark Age- I especially like the tech/organic look of the Kukulkani, as if armour and flesh are one and the same…
NIce to have some dark characters to create some fun scenarios around.
In battle quirks and overarching bad guys in the fluff can be fun, but an inherent evil coercing and sabotaging things from the shadows has real promise.
The new style of miniatures are definitely the way forward.

Really liking the Shadow Caste, they may actually tempt me into giving the Dragyri a try. Was kind of hoping for a little info on the Core (my current second faction) or Brood (a friends main faction), but hey ho. Another interesting faction to try is always a good thing.
The flying disc rider looks cool, but the priestess is actually a very nice model. It’s great to see K3 getting some love.
I really like all the new sculpts here. I was going to say that it is awesome to have some evil & deadly looking models, but nearly everything in Dark Age looks evil & deadly!!!

The Mayans are so cool! That is my faction of choice. I did my gap year in Peru and that flavour is exactly what I remember from the Inca temples that I got to see
I love all of this new miniatures, I already have some Dark Age army, but Shadow Cast and Kukulkani will be next…

Hooo Yea Seeing the Forsaken fighting the one who are responsable for the Dark age time is just Hawsome and the gang messing around with the mid of the soldiers and Freightning every one on the table ooooo yea and over that the mini looks really nice :O
The Doom Seer model definitely stole the show for me. I look forward to being able to field my own Doom Seer and the panic as my opponent realizes that for their army, today might just be 2012 after all.

I need that Doomseer on the death disc to come and mow my lawn. Similarly, I can use my lawnmower to create a cosplay of him.

OMG I love the look of the Shadow Caste Dragyri I can’t wait for these to come out! I am completely sold on these, the thought of frustrating and messing around with my opponents is just to tempting to pass up (plus I used to be a blue/black magic the gathering player too!).
Interesting stuff. I’m amazed more companies haven’t mined the Aztec ascetic for their designs.

Definitely got a unique style they are developing, I like the mayan influences. Very slick and pretty original too. I’d love to see them do a non-humanoid faction.

The shadow caste and kukulkani what’s not to love, I was so engrossed watching this they even made me miss Kelly Brook naked in the film Piranha.

Both of these factions look amazing, think i would like to try the shadow cast, I really like their arachnid look.
I can see some Drow influences in their design, while they still feel very fresh and distinctive.

The Shadow Dragyri sound like my sort of faction, I love the idea of just screwing with my opponent and not actually playing the game, at least in the same way they are, to win
This was a video I was really hoping for. It gives a sense of what those getting into the game can expect going forwards. The Shadow Caste Dragyri look amazing. I love how utterly alien they are. Their connection to the Core is brilliant. Their playstyle sounds very intriguing and in keeping with the aesthetcis of the artwork.
One again, the bar has been raised even HIGHER. can’t wait for my local store to carry this as they state they were about to.. definitely grabbing an army finally.. and it will be the Kukulkani.
Hands down they are the most interesting imo; and I utterly love the way they ended up sculpted and the studio paints really are breathtaking. I love the subtle shifts in the colours on the blues on their skin and the nmm in the technology.
I also REALLY enjoyed the lead up to their reveal during the 2012 dooms day countdown! Fit in perfectly with this crew.
Watching that I looked at a picture and my eye brows shot up. “Nice!” Then the next picture showed, and my eyebrows had no where to go. I couldn’t show more excitement.
Good thing I don’t make reaction videos. Just be me with a stunned expression for 15 minutes.
YES! This is getting me sooo pumped for the next book, which looks to be Dragyri. Can’t wait to see more shadow caste! Can you imagine a Greater Shadow Elemental? Hurry it up CMoN! 🙂

OK, the Fire caste Were my favourite looking Dragyri. Now the Shadow caste Are my favourite. I used to play Blue/Black years ago too…

Okay Those Shadows look slick. Them why do I have a feeling there might be a light Caste some where…Well they have been trapped underground forever so maybe not. Or they could all be killed like the Earth Caste. All good looking minis.

Those new Kukulkani look even better than the older sculpts. Very hard to resist.
And the abilities of that priestess sound nasty. You can practically negate ranged combat.

Yup, this is the faction for me…Kublakai. Ill name the female Gladiator/Pit fighter Shadowcast “Nymphetamine”. Good name me thinks…please give it some real consideration. Thanks for the great overview and the concepts and minis for both these factions really will be something I will buy. Thanks guys.

The aesthetic of the designs and sculpts really embody the essence of the different factions. They all feel individual whilst still belonging to the same universe. What an absolutely fantastic design job!
