I’d be interested in doing conversions for BoW.
And I could try and convince a buddy of mine to paint something up.
I would love to see you guys reaching out to Werner Klocke. He is (afaik) the lead miniatures sculpture and rules designer at freebooters miniatures and does some of the – at least in my opinion – best sculpts in the industry. Also Freebooters Fate is a really extraordinary skirmisher which is great fun.
First it feels a little strange to do a tabletop without dice, but once you give it a try it will blow your mind.
I’d like to see @piers on there doing a painting tutorial. From what I can tell he paints to a fantastic standard but it’s also the speed at which he does it that makes it an interesting style. I’m sure he could bring some battlegroup bits as well. Also he’s reasonable local 🙂
I want him to do a display game of Battlegroup (anything) with his awesome models! PLEASE.

I’d love to do some painting/modelling stuff. Always fancied doing it, but never had the cameras and what-not. Would have to wait until I could get back to Blightey, though. Stuck in Canada at the moment.

This is something I’m very interested in taking part of. I’ve been making and painting terrain & minis since I was a nipper.
Tried refreshing the page etc but right now don’t even have the start vlog play symbol in place for the last three days. will catch up eventually, every thing is running properly installed correct and ship shape it only applies to BOW stuff you tube etc runs great.
Your landlord must be pleased. He’s going to have to build an extension at this rate.

Id love to see a 3d design artist do a series with you guys, perhaps a beginners guide to 3d design.
Then you could do some episodes on 3d printing at the home hobby level.
I am thoroughly enjoying my 3d printer, best £ I have spent on my hobby.
I’m producing ww2 tanks for flames of war and bolt action at will, it’s so cool.

Hi, great vlog again, really love them.
If you need help ( off camera ) for a week or so i could come over ( i live in Netherlands)
I have 2 right hands (they say) and can make terrain / paint/airbrush solder operate cameras, of drill holes the complete day no problem.
I have over 1200 Fantasy minis, make own molds of silicone and can cast in plaster/ and resin. Big fan of BOW, and proud backstager joined when you all moved back to Ireland into “the shed” , because i really did not whanne see BOW leave the internet, and is know so good to see your growing bigger and bigger again.
only problem i have not the money to buy airticket ( last 2 years without job makes a real hard living), but work for free, full committed and with much enthusiast.
How about approaching some of the independant producers of models , hasslefree etc , who are established , have great product , but arent mass producers.
Maybe establish a small section on 15mm or other scale models , GZG or whitestar do amazing work.
Get there views and how they work , good publicity for them too?
Run a competition to get a painting tutorial from Romain , someone with NO skill , ie me (joke) , put them in a bootcamp with the R , and track there progress?
Instead of R doing a master class on a model , get John to video how you go about mass producing those Imp Fists , from undercoating , to a final product that you could table?
Maybe a series on fan produced , older games , Necromunda or HOR kill teams , ones that come too mind?

Anyone any other ideas, I have unloaded and reloaded the latest chrome etc. I am on a fairly old macbook pro and all of a sudden the the latest vlogs etc are not able to run, not even a play icon etc. Very frustrating as this is often my outside link to the world. Going to take it all down and reload everything again today in the hope I have missed something when I did this last time. Weird because up to and including a couple of days back everything still works, its as if its just not picking up BOW bits but not all???
Hey @warzan i know your busy but its just i’m just about to under go building a 10′ by 12′ summerhouse / workshop to be my man cave and funds are going to be focused on that so was hoping to get a chat in before the shit hit the fan and it would give me a chance to sort out time and funds to where i could start pretty soon.

When you come to battle report for 40K can you run one early on that has new comers in mind?
I have tried to watch a couple of battle reports on YouTube and the like and have just been confused and lost in the jargon, with references to fluff I have no idea about and other insider jokes that went completely over my head (and that was only going through their army lists!?)
The game is old and I appreciate no one is going to slow down for complete novices, but I would love to be able to enjoy your series without having to read 10 Black Library novels just to get through the first 2 minutes.
Upgrade camera kit? How about running fund raiser with a few levels. £1 get name on web board, £5 get name on scrolling board, £10 get place on permanent board at BoW in foyer, £25 get name on board in filming room. That allows those with limited funds to contribute to the betterment of BoW outside of Backstage membership. Then have a few high end fund raisers, £50 gets you bespoke tshirt, £100 gets you be spoked tshirt and mini, £500 gets you tshirt, mini and a weekend 1 on 1 with the team ( have to make own way there) and lastly £1000 gets tshirt, mini, weekend with the team and a room named after them or by them,
This will allow backstagers to give to BoW, BoW get some needed inject of cash to improve output. Worked for my lodge in getting much needed inject of cash to improve and having the levels allows any budget to be a part of it.
