I’ve already stopped going to places with large groups of people. I’ve stopped going to my gaming club,we have a rule in the house that when come in from outside the first thing you do is wash your hands. We have my 76 year old mother in law with us who has underlying issues which makes her vulnerable, so we’re changing the way we do things to minimize the risk.
Hobby wise I have a huge back log to keep me occupied if we get put in lock down and I’m going to be ordering a few bits and bobs just in case I get through that back log 😉 lol
I’d use the Stargate IP. A year later those ‘SG teams’ become teams 2+ that don’t have named characters on the show. Then you have the Russian teams. Then you have free Jaffa (who carry the weapons but not the uniforms) little grey men, the Furlings, Unas, super-soldiers, Ori followers, etc.
Just do what GW does and take a look and make it your own;
Aliens – Genestealers
Marines – Imperial Guard
Terminators – Necrons
Gundam – Tau Battle Suits
Judge Dredd – Arbites
The Imperium – Byzantine Empire + 16th Century Europe
Soloman Kane – Witch hunters
etc. Lets face it, this list goes on for ever.

What if you take “Streets of Rome” and get the HBO Rome license for 1 year and then continue to sell it as “Rome” which is not copy writes.
I always wonder why they have Justin “navigating” the images from the laptop. He’s either going off doing his own thing, not listening to the rest of the cast or refusing to bring up what the cast are asking for. It’s all part of the “comedy of errors” that makes up XLBS 😀

Spartacus was a great game whereas the tv show was third rate and not hugely watched. There is an Alien game that absolutely isn’t Alien called Nemesis that skirts lines but gets good reviews. It’ll be interesting to see how it sells now there is a very similar but actual licensed Alien game coming.

Well the start of that episode was a WTF moment. The Wookie won that round!
I would suggest a game where the IP is built around a famous historical character. Suitable examples would include; Atilla the Hun, Julias Caesar or my personal favourite Lord Nelson. These are obvious examples of characters who have featured in many books, TV series and films over the years and who are not subject to copyright. If you wanted to take it to the next level you could even consider people like Mohammed Ali or other more recent popular culture figures to bring in the fringe gamers.

Great episode guys. Just a quick note. The pics that appear upside down in the project system do it automatically for no reason haha. It’s happened to mine a lot too. Definitely a fix needed there. I’ve learnt to post to my project in chunks too as anything over 3 pictures and it crashes and erases everything you’ve written. Found that out the hard way. Love the project system but it’s definitely buggy!

I know I’m a bit late, but Gettysburg is a great film and a place name where the historical battle took place that the film is about.
I think you could get the IP for Tron & then if you wanted to bring it in-house or lost the IP, then you could call it BikeRace 3000 without really changing much!
