I’m not sure if I’ve remembered right, but I think John might have done a painting tutorial on some Yanks years ago. I know he did a German infantry one. Not sure if you’ve ever heard of Pete the Wargamer on Youtube but he did a ‘quick paint’ guide for US, too. Here’s the vid he did a while ago:

Pete’s pretty good with faster guides and they would probably go even faster with some of the contrast paints. Not really sure if you were looking for tips or anything…but I find looking at what others have done really helps to make your own painting go a little smoother. 😛
