I really like the newer plastic Warlord figures . The new British box , the winter FJ , the seated British with the Bedford truck . Fantastic IMO . We might disagree because of where we started in building / painting figures . If you are pure gamer then I can see the size differences would be a problem . Coming at it from a model builders pov , and having built Airfix , Heller , Tamiya & Italeri in the 70s, the Warlord stuff are awesome . Personally I find most Rubicon too small with soft detail , although some plastic blister packs are really good . I tend to give the Rubicon gun crews away and replace them with kit bashed plastics and resin / metal figures from various companies . Mind you most of the Italeri/Warlord plastic tank commanders aren’t much better . I swear the TCs for the Pzr III , IV , V & VI are all different scales . But to each their own , that’s what makes the hobby so much fun .
Now if only the aftermarket companies would show us some love like Value Gear do with their 1/56 scale resin stowage .
