If I where looking for 1/56 tracks I would start with 3D printing or looking at the leftover tank part lots on ebay, particularly the Warlord kit ones (they have more parts than Rubicon). For 1/48 tread bits for that project I would look at Hobby Boss and Dragon first, they should sell treads that are “one tread bit to glue at a time”.
