For the last 2 days I get a 504 Error when trying to get on to the site from Australia. If I use a VPN I can get to the site.

I have been getting a 502 error all day Sunday as well. It’s better now though the site is still very slow to load. I am in the US east coast – NYC area if it helps.

I’m getting the same error occasionally as well in the UK

The issue seems to have passed, for me at least. There was a good 12 hours where I could not connect at all though. I didn’t have any problems with other sites so I thought BoW 2.0 had failed. I am glad it was just a possibly local connection issue rather than the site being down.

I don’t think it was local @koraski as half our team here at the NEC lost access and the team in the US couldn’t get access either.

@nakchak should be able to get to the bottom of it though 🙂

Likewise, US east coast, Boston area.  502 and 503 errors.

I have tweaked some server settings, on the “evil twin” web server, which seems to have stopped the root cause of the issue, i shall keep monitoring for any blips, but im pretty confident that the issue is resolved.

I had a few over the weekend. I assumed it was Expo traffic and the first proper load test on the new site.

FWIW the 502 was from your hosts, so a semi-educated guess would be load on your database.

@somegeezer dB was fine, one server in the cluster was recycling workers too aggressively, so with load it was killing workers at the same rate as traffic was hitting it
