It’s just staggering that EU hasn’t fulfilled yet.

    It is, isn’t it ?

They keep implying that EU are only a ‘tiny amount’, but for some reason they need several weeks to process their things through customs and additional weeks to get it ‘sorted’ at the hub.

So they are either completely incompetent and are theferor responsible for the slow progress.
Or they do have a more significant amount of backers outside of the USA than they are willing to admit.

Or maybe both … I wouldn’t rule that out either.

Australian region backers are in an even worse position from what I can tell.

Fun fact: Mantic’s Epic Warpath is to start shipping in May (original plan was March 2025).
I am not convinced I will have my Battletech before Warpath at this point in time.

To think CGL only needed to release a few minis and an expansion instead of creating a new game from scatch at a scale they hadn’t done before …

If the rumours/promises are true we should see tracking mails coming Monday.

    But I doubt it.

It would be a freaking miracle if we got any actual functioning tracking mails on monday.

16:45 … no email for me either.

I bet they’ll either tell us things have started for real by tuesday or there’s another c*ckup.

I suspect it will be the latter.

Still no mail. Didn’t have the nerve to watch the latest of their “news videos”

Time to warn the next bunch of suckers to avoid CGL and the Frost Punk KS due to go live in March.

Looks more and more like Mythic Games with every new KS they put on top of the pile of late and unfulfilled projects.

Maybe OTT and other platforms will call them out this time?

Disappointing, but I should’ve known better. Just frustrating how difficult it is to get BT stuff in general. Nobody seems to stock everything (or anything at all), even CGL themselves, and the KS takes aaaaaaaaages to fulfill ._.

Ok what I thought was a new video is just a re-upload from last week. For whatever reasons.

But to add insult to injury and put some salt in the wounds the current CGL newsletter tells us, what is “in store”.

    BATTLETECH JANUARY RELEASES:
    Mercenaries Box Set – $74.99
    IlKhan’s Eyes Only – $49.99
Clan Direct Fire Star – $34.99
Battlefield Support: Rifle & Command Lances – $39.99
    Mercenaries Salvage Box – $7.99
Battlefield Support Salvage Box – $11.99
Second Star League Assault Lance – $29.99
Black Remnant Command Lance – $29.99

    BATTLETECH FEBRUARY RELEASES:
    Map Pack: Savannahs – $29.99
Sun Tzu’s Art of War: Translated by Jaime Wolf – $14.99
Battlefield Support: Battle & Fire Lances – $39.99
    Clan Cavalry Star – $34.99
Inner Sphere Recon Lance – $29.99
Inner Sphere Security Lance – $29.99
House Davion Heavy Battle Lance – $29.99

Nice of CGL to put it in their store. Not like “some people” have already paid “a little bit” of money and are waiting for their delivery.

I mean between UK shipping starting and receiving my shipping notification was 6 weeks, but once I had the notification my delivery was with me in 48 hours. But I know I was certainly starting to get anxious at seeing folks receive their notifications whilst I had nothing showing. It sucks and I can only imagine how frustrated you folks all are waiting for your stuff.
Doubly so as – barring the absurd amount of empty space in the packaging of the various Battlefield Support boxes (seriously, they could have been half the size) – the product is actually pretty good in hand and all this has just been unnecessary self-harm by CGL to both the Battletech brand and their own reputation…..

Ah, but you forget @sundancer, they don’t expect anyone outside the US to *actually use* their webstore due to the absurd shipping rates. At this point though I just want to know when/if I’ll be able to buy the non-KS stuff like the Black Remnant Lance, IlKhan’s Eyes Only and Hotspots: Hinterlands here in the UK…..

You’ll be able to put an order in somewhere for sure. Question will be: will CGL still deliver in a timely manner with reasonable shipping?

The saddest part about all of this is that BT is suffering after surviving for so long. Feels like the brand is declining at the speed the kickstarter went up.

Oh well. Spend money on other toys I guess.

I wonder if this thread will get to the same number of posts as “what are you painting now?” before everyone gets their KS from CGL?

That’s all up to CGL and how good they are at their job 😉

Looks like Australians are indeed  getting their stuff, so that’s at least good news for their region.

    No new info.

And with the superb owl, total chaos and looting going on over there in the USA I doubt we will be getting anything soon.
