@bobcockayne We could always do what we did on the runewars bootcamp, dissolve candy sweets in vodka for shots.

fruity and liquorish were the favourite if I remember correctly.

There could be more than a few bad battle field decisions made.

Have dug out for inspiration and will be bringing 4x Afika Korps figures in various uniform options and 4 x Characters for LRDG I did about 10 years ago. I may spend week going how the hell did I do them without washs!!!

Epic choice, @buggeroff – I don’t usually recommend TV documentaries, but early seasons of “Battlefield” is the exception that proves the rule.

Last day of work started.  Said goodbye to my bed.  Head home early from the office to catch an Uber to the airport.  Fly to Newark straight from the office tonight, hopefully get some sleep on the BA flight from Newark to Belfast.

Whenever I pack for one of these boot camps I feel like Jack Ryan at the beginning of Hunt for Red October.  🙂

(beginning at 3:15 – packing up research materials, catching flight over the Atlantic, driving to a secret bunker).
