Managed to make a start on my Kill Team Orks which I have challenged myself to finish before the end of Orktober. Started with green as they should at least be recognisable if I dropped them on a table now.

Ork tech works because the Orks think it does.

As such this Eldar disguise will work because the Orks believe it does, which means it will fool other races (including Eldar themselves) or at least distract them long enough for the Orks to suprise them …

ie : that invasion fleet of Eldar may in fact be an Ork fleet using ‘kunning’ … 😉

Lol… step away from the thread for a while and see all sorts of orky goodness sprout like a fungal bloom. Eh, that doesn’t sound so appealing after giving it a second read. You all know what I mean.

So, I’m still getting about my namesake mini after a quick sealing of a display piece, Blessed of December from Malifaux (1st ed. metal) and a Reaper Bones piece I’ve been goofing around with. I’ve been back and forth on the color of the coat but red won out “cuz red goez fastuh!”. I have a goblin captain and crew member holding a spyglass that I’ll get to later. Despite purchasing the gob captain first and building the base up I felt the ork admiral needed to be done before him.  Here’s a look at what you’ll see done later.

Ok boyz, we’z got moar stuff tah shaer. (Ork translation modified on account of Caturday… for those of you already past Friday night).

I’ll plug this video from a channel I tune into occasionally. It makes my “Oooh Shiny!” reaction go as they feature awesome ork aircraft and armor. I’m thinking I might get into vehicles with this just to put them on display. Its difficult to not want them for the fun of it all.
