I’m not a flashy guitar player at all and love just strumming the rhythm to allow others to shine.  And every now and again,  it’s great fun to pick up a bass and actually feel what you’re playing!

I think you still yourself a bit short as “the worst guitar player gets to go on bass” – it’s a completely different animal.  And if you’re enjoying it,  that’s awesome!

I’m currently on holiday, in Noto, Sicily (Google it, it really is as beautiful as it’s best photos make it look!)

But just last night,  i too got to “dep” on bass for a few hours and loved it.  Just some add-hoc, crazy Italian street band,  playing covers for al fresco diners along the entire length of the “corso”.

This is my last working week before early retirement and I went sick wednesday with man-flu.

I don’t want my last working day tomorrow to be a sick day, so I’m probably going in anyway.

It’s sometimes like all packages arrive at once … or at least very close to each other.
Got my Tavern & Townsfolk bits from Crooked Dice kickstarter today.

Tomorrow (if all arrives as planned) there will be a soviet invasion courtesy of Warlord Games 😀

And then there is an incoming package from Mantic which I hope will be the Epic Warpath, but I have no details on that one yet.

Last weekend for Halloween and my last chance of completing that the 1:1 scale terrain project before I get to deploy it.

And I think we get to set the clocks backward which is supposed to save daylight, but as I needed to use more lights when waking up recently I’m not sure that is working as designed.

I already got plans set in motion for finishing my hobby room, which is cool … but also rather annoying as I really need to focus on one project at a time.

I think it’s November for Canada. Weird.

Started a new project today, for MYSELF! Huzzah. Hopefully I’ll start the project log by end of the weekend. It’s coming along very excitingly.
